  1. Your level of detail always amazes me!
  2. Hey, my dad had one of these too! His was silver and had holes rusted through the floor boards... rather large holes. I seem to remember the car being very fast, maybe due to the weight reduction in the floor. Very nicely done!
  3. It must be the pics, my monitor or my old, tired eyes, but it looked more like a shade of salmon or coral.
  4. Nick, I continue to see improvements in each of your builds. I'm sure I'll be able to see even more once the better pics from your new camera start showing up. Keep up the good work! Regards, David G.
  5. Beautiful work! Is this the kit in which nearly each of the body panels is a seperate piece? If it is, I have an edition of it that I would like to build, but there's no chassis. I've had a hard time finding reference pics for the chassis on the web. I was wondering if you could post a few pics of you kit's chassis so I could get some ideas for scratching or bashing for my own kit? These cars were works of art and your build does them justice. Regards, David G.
  6. Very cool idea, Brian. What you've done so far looks good, but I have to agree with some of the other guys. The yellow seems too bright for the interior. Maybe a saddle or light tan color or a cream or butter yellow leather for the seats with the yellow you already have on it for the dash and some of the metal interior fittings. Regards, David G.
  7. I never would've guessed. You did a great job on this one.
  8. Nice detail and paint, I can almost smell the cordite and diesel.
  9. Cool local stocker, I love the "meats" on it.
  10. Very nice, excellent looking build. This is one of the ones that I want to build too! I don't have a kit for it yet, but I'm always on the lookout.

    Eeeeewwww.
  12. Beautiful paint and detail work. There should be some sort of contractual or copyright requirement that any time Lamborghini Miura is spelled out in any way, in any form, it should be followed by four exclaimation marks... Lamborghini Miura!!!!
  13. Looks like it could use a bit of directional scoring/streaking on the saucer section. Other than that, it looks great.
  14. Nice build, I Love the color and, especially, the the slicks on the rear. Very Cool!
  15. One of my favorites too, excellent work on it!. The "bad guys" always seem to get the coolest looking ships, cars, body armor etc.
  16. That's a nice deep looking paint job!
  17. Looking good, you've got some nice detail work there.
  18. Very clean and tight. What color is that? It looks good on that car.
  19. Aces! Somebody somewhere is proud once again! Whoever built it, you did him justice.
  20. I'm told it's from the early eighties. A drummer I once worked with called it "The Hockey Stick" It has a decent sound and it's really stable as far as the neck set-up and staying in tune. Of course, that could also be the Phoenix climate.
  21. A clean build on a dirty racer! Great work!
  22. I agree, the 1989 Batmobile is the best one of all, and yours came out great! I built one many years ago and have a few pics on my website, in case anyone's interested. I should take some better pics of it someday. Do you have any pics of the cockpit? Regards, David G.
  23. It needs something cold, like ICEE frozen drinks, or maybe Peak antifreeze.
  24. I love factory stock builds, and this one is well done. The top came out great. too!
