  1. I know tha NMRA has a Master Modeler achievement that can be earned through successfully completing certain tasks. Maybe we should come up with some type of standard like that for model cars. That way when somebody claims to be an MCM Master Modeler we would know just what level of quality work can be expected. Just a thought. David G.

  6. Just make your own, that's what I would do.
  7. You've come up with a very unique concept and executed it very well. Is it based on a real prototype?

  9. Looks like this will be a fun one to watch!
  10. Nice fusion, very well done- good color choice too!
  11. Daaaaannng! Completely awesome! This would make an excellent Batmobile... seriously.
  12. It looks pretty good, what needs to be done on it yet?
  13. That's just evil lookin' ...in a cool sorta way!

  18. That's pretty impressive for a performance car! As Zoom pointed out, I'd check it myself if I were you. I check all my cars at each fill-up. I've found it a fairly good indicator of of the car's over-all condition. My '71 Delta 88 with a 4bbl 350 and HEI gets 11 MPG around town and 22 on the highway... at 90 MPH! I once checked it on a 250 mile freeway trip.
  19. This one looks like it could be a lot of fun- you've got a good start going.
  20. Here are a few models that came in my last e-bay haul that I'd like to know more about. This old Corvette seems to be 1:24 scale or a bit larger. I was wondering if anybody knows what company made it and when, and if there is anything particularly special or desireable about it. Obviously, this one is a Cord. The body is made up of seperate panel pieces that I temporarily tacked together with masking tape for the photo. The engine, though incomplete, seems to be correct as it's molded in red plastic like the rest of the kit. There is no chassis. In addition to wanting to know who made this kit and when, I was wondering if somebody might suggest a suitable chassis donor. And then there's this... thing. Obviously a model of one of those wacky '60s custom showcars, but it's nothing I can recall seeing. Thanks for your time and expertise. Regards, David G.
  21. It's almost too cool! Very realistic, especially the under-hood shot which looks like it could be from a magazine spread.
  22. You have some very interesting ideas, it'll be fun to watch them develop.
  23. Very Cool! You're a lucky man.
