  1. Smoooooth and shiney, good color choice.
  2. Thank you for being there for us. As I tell my friends in law enforcement, "May you have an uneventful shift," or deployment as is the case. Regards, David G.

I love the stockers. Great work on this one!
  4. Absolutely beautiful, I love the level of detail.
  5. Wow, that's pretty. I love the interior detail.
  6. Most mileage estimates allow for 10 to 12 thousand per year, so a vehicle that's 11 or 12 years old would normally have between 100 and 130 thousand miles on it. Yours is only at 60,000, that's pretty good!
  7. Many years ago "Jimmy" was a nickname for any GMC truck. I'd forgotten that GM actually made the Jimmy nickname into a trim package. If my guesstimate is right, that's really low mileage (kilometerage?), about 60,000 US Miles? Mine's a '98 and has about 78,000 mi (125,000kms?). Oh yeah, that's a pretty color on your Ranger kit too! Looks like it should polish up nicely. Regards, David G.
  8. Nice "Jimmy" what year is it?
  9. That turned out well, I'll have to try my hand at one of these some day.
  10. Hello and welcome, Mark.
  11. A very nice rendition of the PPD cruiser. What year is the car, though?
  12. When I saw the first pic, I thought it was a 1:1 reference! Excellent overall work, the paint is particularly well done!
  13. That looks really good for a snap kit. I'm surprised at the level of detail that there seems to be. Looks like a fun build too. I didn't know there was a snap version of the 1993 Ranger. I have one of AMT's 1993 Ranger Splash kits which I picked up at a swap meet. I plan on converting to a 1998 replica of my 1:1. The wheels might pose a challenge, I've only ever seen one other set like these. At the risk of seeming like a hijacker, here's a photo of it... Regards, David G.
  14. Kind of a prehistoric tuner. "Vee-eight? We don't need no stinkin' vee-eight!" A very cool concept, very well done.
  15. You know, that might be a good idea for a sponsorship theme. Right now I'm doing the interior in white and coral, but that could change. The Good-n-Plenty Racer, hmmmmm...
  16. Very nice! I love the black wheels.
  17. Awesome looking power plant.
  18. Very nice and tidy, it just looks solid!
  19. Your paint looks excellent. It all seems to be coming along quite nicely.
  20. Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy it. Now if I can continue to update it regularly, we'll be all set.
  21. "Pepto-Cruiser" I like that!
  22. I usually file the molded plastic belts down to a more appropriate thickness. I also do this with the column-mounted gear shift and turn signal levers.
  23. Erik, That's an excellent build, the interior detail is great. Your photos are well done, too. It seems that you put some effort and thought into lighting and copmosition and it shows. One minor distraction from the otherwise high quality of your building and photographic skills is the dust. If you were to take a moment prior to each shoot to dust off the model, it would make a tremendous improvement in the appearance of your photos. This one detail could make the difference between excellent quality and professional quality. Otherwise, what I've seen is very impressive! Regards, David G.
  24. That's a good rendition of this generation's Camaro-Firebird-Trans Am wagon.
  25. Congratulations! That is an awesome achievement.
