  1. Got this lot from eBay very cheap. Yes, parts are missing here and there but that gives me the mental green light to modify to my tastes. Patent Pending is complete minus wheels and tires and a few minor things. Glue on some parts but not too much, so it will be easy disassembly. Riviera appears complete with an extra chassis and tub. Body is molded in gray but the rest is yellow. I'm guessing a different issue was molded entirely in gray. No motor in the International. Time to fire up the printer! The Mythos appears complete, but I have little to no interest in it, so it may be a parts kit or trade fodder. The McLaren sadly has no body, but maybe I can find a print file for that too...
  2. This has always been one of my favorites. Well done! On the sconces: Perhaps use a paint pen for the gilding? Maybe also mask the "glass" and trim it with a very sharp blade. Just some random thoughts.
  3. I have something similar to this. Works amazingly well. If you have a sawzall this'll make your life easy... https://www.amazon.com/MixKwik-Paint-Shaker-2-0-Reciprocating/dp/B0DVBJ8QD8?ref_=ast_sto_dp
  4. Hi guys, on the off chance someone has one of these laying around I specifically need the swing arm assembly but an incomplete parts kit would be great. Lots of trade items. Thank you!
  5. Vegas, Baby! (see what I did there?)
  6. I still have my 23 horse Cub Cadet that I bought several years ago. It's a good machine and has a stout manufactured steel deck, but it's been relegated to towing a wagon or an aerator or leaf collector. I switched to the zero turn partly because of the need to mow some very tall, thick grass and the lawn tractor wasn't quite up to it.
  7. Somehow I missed this build but this is the best version of a Monza I've seen. Stance, wheels, color choice are spot on, and your execution is fantastic.
  8. Very funny! This build is fantastic. Your attention to detail is second to none.
  9. Last year, I finally took the plunge and will never go back to mowing with a lawn tractor. I mow roughly two acres and this cut my mowing time down significantly. I ended up buying a Bad Boy MZ Magnum. Not too big or too small and built like a tank. That little Statesman is a neat tractor.
  10. Nice! You only go around once, and you can never have too many tools!
  11. Carl, can you expand on your statement? I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Are you saying that Mike's specific bed is too thin and low? It's probably just the picture that makes it look that way. The foam mattresses in our house are just as thick as any conventional we've had. They are normal size and use normal sheets. As far as low goes, that totally depends on what height of foundation you're using. It's actually much more flexible than the old style. Ours are normal bed height.
  12. Amazing work! I'm not even a fan of the Lark, but this is next level!
  13. That reminds me of a story from the 80s. We were young and had a waterbed. Who didn't? Some older friends of ours came to spend the night and we let them sleep on our waterbed. I think we were on air mattresses. In the morning, I asked my friend how they slept. He said it was ok, but he had to hold on to the rail all night because he was afraid he'd drift out to sea.
  14. We've been using high quality foam mattresses for years. They are economical, can be re-compressed for moving and are extremely comfortable. We got sick of all the showroom hype and BS and stupidly inflated costs associated with conventional mattresses. And have you tried to get someone to help you move a king size mattress? Your friends always suddenly have something else to do. You should like yours. If there is a downside, it might be that your body weight tends to make a divot that could be difficult to roll out of, for some folks. I'm 240 lbs and I don't even notice it any more. We flip ours fairly routinely.
  15. Very, very tasty!
  16. "What's going down, Norm?" "These cheeks on this bar stool". Norm will be missed.
  17. There are three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't.
  18. Yes sir! It was later modified into the Sand Shark, which is reportedly a redesign by someone other than Tom Daniel. There is built-up Dog Catcher on eBay right now that the seller is ridiculously proud of. The seller has a "No Lowballers, I know what I got!" type statement and it appears to have a sentimental attachment premium added on as well. Also included is the unfortunate Sand Shark built up. If this sells anywhere near the asking point I'm throwing my glue bombs up for grabs too!
  19. I did not know this existed. Very nice looking model.
  20. Nice job on this! You gave it a whole different vibe. I'm on the fence about starting mine because, you know...rarer than hen's teeth. But then, they are made to be built.
  21. Looks like David has not visited since 2020, unfortunately, so he's probably not going to see the replies. That being said, the Dog Catcher is way cool!
  22. You knocked it out of the park again! It's great to take a break and create something different, ain't it?
  23. Color me green with envy! I've had a number of Ponchos but this one is perfect!
