  1. Xs 2 Dave....I have been through a lot myself and still do everyday. Hang in there. I have had days when I wondered why or how I can continue to build,etc....In my case what else am I going to do plus its all I know and a passion I have had since a kid...I am too old to change now. There are lots of people here to talk with if you feel the need Dave.
  2. Just because something is rare it does not command a high price...some rare models can be gotten very reasonable still if one looks or shops around. Sometimes you just get lucky too. While some expect big bucks for stuff some do not or have no clue what they really have or what its worth...there only worth what someone is willing to pay for them anyway. I once got a 68 Impala convertible SS promo in near mint condition at a garage sale for 5.oo and was happy to pay that for it...there pretty rare too.
  3. Id love to have a crew and single cab version but have too much funds issues to. Glass is a big plus for them though.
  4. I use to have one of those years ago...would love to have another....Round 2 needs to reissue it as a parts pack...also the 63 Ford pickup overhead camper top...
  5. AWESOME Tom....I wish you had your own model kit company.
  6. Tom.... That is AWESOME...!!!! I have always wanted to build a mobile home trailer but believe its out of my skill level plus its too hard to find supplies to try here that one can afford too...awesome work I understand your reluctance to weather it looks great like it is...
  7. That is one way to look at it....Johan kits seem to be getting harder to find or afford everyday here in my area. Some of their kits had defects when they were new...still I love them and even their snap kits myself.
  8. its hard to say if the both taillight lenses are there from the photo but it appears to be missing one of them to me...the ski poles, etc. are just above the tires in the photo. Its a pretty detailed kit builds nicely with work...finding missing parts could become hard to do...I know this first hand I have a bunch I have been looking for parts to for over 10 years with not much of any luck.
  9. Id love to get my hands on one of those someday.
  10. Nice save and progress on her....I dig these cars they have class and performance. I feel for you working on restoring it after being customized...I fight that same issue with most of mine being they were built back in the 60s.
  11. Welcome Joel....! Were all addicted to plastic here your in the right place.

  16. Dan...I understand your wanting to see one or something...someday you might. I just hope its not as close as what we seen once about 4 car lengths from ours ...I doubted these things till I seen one and seen several since then with other witnesses.
  17. Richard... I have wanted to do that for many many years myself...wish I could too. I always wanted to make a drag strip diorama with a working tree and a working or chasing light marque sign or two.
