I never had any experience with ether but I seen those adds and looks like it would be good for when your modifying or repairing bodies,etc.

Our dog got a hold of a mint 64 T-bird HT promo...now I have to repair the trunk it has teeth holes in it...my nephew accidentally left my build room door open for awhile.

Me my wishes or plans for this years work is to find parts and restore as many of my dads old ones as I can and maybe find and build a few like I had as a kid for the memories.

Chris buddy... Far as I know they never did the gas tank was behind the seat and no room was left there on them on the 1 to 1s or kits.

Id love to get my hands on the resin long bed so I could make a replica of our truck...its a 84 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 long bed.

This brings back a lot of memories for me too... we had a Ben Franklin store..a Woolworth store..and a local shop that was awesome called Quincy pet and hobby years ago. Love to have some of those kits that were out back in those days...would be great to get to relive some of my childhood days again with them.

Peter.... Thanks..I need all the help i can find for the ones I have here...must be around 100 I need parts for. I do think the convertible is a bit more rare but I am a HT,sedan,wagon kind of guy myself when is comes to cars. Sometimes I get tired of searching for parts for them but have to.

I have one I have been looking for to make a replica of one I had to sell one...it was a 75 Pontiac Trans Am with a .30 over 400ci,huge cam,ram air heads and exhaust manifolds,automatic,functional shaker scoop,posi,160mph speedometer ....I loved that car. I hope you find yours.

Peter... NICE finds...! I too love the old promos and restoring them...those will be easy ones your lucky. I have a 67 Ambassador HT and Convertible that both need work and parts.

Hi Mike buddy... You can use a Enamel over a Lacquer but cant use a Lacquer over a Enamel paint is the general rule.

Ray....That is nice.... Looks just like the one my dads did when the old MPC kit was new he built but cleaner...age shows on his now.

Me too Bill....I want to find/build a replica of many from those movies...trouble is finding or affording them when you do.

I still have a sealed MPC Dodge(Super Charger)kit from my younger days. I use to have the wagon 3 in 1 kit...thought it was cool.
