  1. Bill... I have been after the International and any of the Massey ones for years due to having built them as a kid when I couldn't do them justice. I did find both Massey ones several years ago still sealed but they got taken with the rest in our breakin a few years ago here...big bummer.
  2. I wish they could have brought back the Ertl International and Massey farm tractor kits they were nice.
  3. Some one needs to make a plastic kit of the garbage truck body we could use on ours...maybe offer a kit of pre cut parts with instructions..?
  4. That is cool Dave....I remember building the van and Lug Big ones as a kid they were a blast.
  5. The Beatle Bus will be a must have for me....its one I have as a kid.
  6. You might look at the Ertl farm tractor die-casts for the tires...?
  7. Very very cool...awesome work....
  8. WOW....Amazing work...! I have always wanted to try to build the garbage truck body but could never figure out how to.
  9. Looks pretty much like the one i am trying to restore other than for the color its molded in...and condition...LOL...
  10. Steve... I love the 66-70 Bonnevilles...they were beautiful classy cars. We owned quite a few of them when I was growing up.
  11. Ron... That wagon is AWESOME...!
  12. May have to try it...mine has a bench seat too..may have to find a way to convert the tub into one..? Then there is the Chevy grille issue..?
  13. COOL... I always thought it might be cool and fun to build some of those.
  14. Id love to see them bring back the 68,69 Lincolns made by AMT. I have a 59 HT promo that needs some help for the roof. Id also like to see them make a 71-73 Lincoln HT...they just look so classy to me. I think the 70 Buick Wildcat kit looks like a good one...curbside kits never bothered me one bit...they are what you make of them.
  15. Snake...are you referring to the AMT 70 Buick Wildcat kit instead of a 69..? One rare kit that has never been re-issued and wont is the Johan 71//72 Toronado kit. Bummer too my first 1 to 1 car was a 72.
  16. Welcome Joe....there are lots of people here that can help with any questions you might have. I have always built but found since becoming disabled myself its a great way to pass the time.
  17. Brian....that is cool buddy....mines a K10 or 1500 series...supposed to be GM med. metallic blue...right now its different colors needs a bed in the worst way for one with dual tanks and no trim or the stick on type. 53,200 miles on it.
  18. Welcome Gergo... Were glad to have you with us all. Building is a great way to pass the time...believe me...LOL.. Thanks for your service to us all.
  19. I like it...looks close to the same color as mine only my 1 to 1 is a long bed...and not as pretty.
  20. Welcome back Dave...
  21. COOL......I have always had a soft spot for the Tom Daniels kits. I have a old build up of the Paddy Wagon but the gold chrome is shot.
  22. Welcome Mike.......I use spray paint cans myself too...with a bit of practice you will get the hand of it. Nothing needs to be rushed ether...take you own time painting or building it pays off in the end. Best advise anyone ever gave me is to treat every part as if it were a model itself.
