I know it wont happen but if it did and i did not die of a heart attack.... Id share it with people that have been nice to me and ones I know that need help. Pay off all our debts. Id get a house built or bought for us that is big enough and nice with a real place to build for me. Then Yes...id help fund some long overdue kits that need to be done for everyone. After that I would probably try to find some kits/promos that mean something to me. -
Nice build..! For me though it would have to be a 70,71 LTD in scale...always liked the shape of those.

Welcome Stan....! I know what you mean about having time to pass...LOL... I also remember those early days prices of kits and the kits that were out back then...man those were the days. -
Speaking about Stash Size........

Anymore for me with a very limited budget it has to be something I have wanted or waited for it to be re-issued for some time when I can. I have those Holy Grail lists too but usually have to ether get lucky and find an old one somewhere I can afford or trade for one. I have never had a disposable income so I just have to go the route I can. Sure I am interested in all new kits but I am happy with most older ones as they are too. -
I had one as a kid the decals were a nightmare for me on it but would still welcome another to try.

When we had a tornado here and the room lost a couple of windows I had to toss out some old kit boxes to ones I have and some I saved because I liked the box art was a bummer. Decals, boxes and instructions had to be tossed they just got too wet...I like having them in their box and for the artwork plus they and the instructions are good for reference. -

I like the older kits myself...metal axles, screw chassis, curbside, some snaps,etc....its never bothered me I like them due to what there of and with my old hands and eyes they are easy and a joy to build just as much as the full detailed kits...they all can be built into great looking models. I build them and they sit in a display case so it does not matter. I think I actually prefer the older ones most...many had optional building versions, etc. that newer ones normally do not have in them...I am happy with the older ones. I have no where near the collections others have here but happy to have what i do. -
Thanks Tony..! Sorry about the poor photo quality...I just wish you could have seen them before.

Couple 60's Mopar kit questions
disabled modeler replied to Lordmodelbuilder's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Brad.... MPC made the 65 Cornet HT...might be able to use parts from the Lindberg kit...? Johan made the 64 Plymouth HT...probably will have to use Johan parts for it. Cool seeing those...Like many of us here I like the older stuff. -
Thanks Mark and Craig.... I use to own a 69 Impala SS HT and a 70 4door HT years ago...ended up giving the 70 to my mother to drive.

I have a very simple solution for any of you that think you have too many kits... Organize your collection or stash...it makes room and cleans up the look of them plus helps avoid damage to them. If you still have too many...just send them to me...Ill make room for them.... -
Very nice....

Nice indeed. -
Thanks everyone...I really appreciate it.... Those wheels are from an old AMT 72 Nova kit Gary...I just thought they looked good one it plus I did not have the correct ones for it. Nie... Thanks...I like to use scale figures to add a touch to them sometimes. I have 2 large dioramas I want to build that will need very many of them...many of the old kits came with them.
-
I would LOVE to see them do the 63 Wagoneer...would cause multiple purchases for me plus the older style parts could be kit bashed with the Revell J10 pickup for a older Jeep pickup build.

Thanks Ken.

Thanks Kerry... These two are from my dads old collection...both were in need of lots of help. The 59 Buick convertible was really rough loads of custom stuff added to it that had been removed but left lots of damage...the scale figures are just sitting in it. The 70 Impala HT was in need of help too but not as badly. Thanks for looking...
