I too have and want to build replicas of my families vehicles were have owned over the years...there nice to have for the memories too.

Neat concept I like it...nice shop by the way. Many year ago I delivered pizza in a 72 Pontiac Grand Safari wagon that was a retired State police car...man did that thing run for a heavy car...LOL...

Snake... I have the old 64 buildup needs work and a 66 promo in blue with a hole in the trunk otherwise its pretty nice. I have a few old promos and buildups I need to get restored too. Finding the needed parts is a challenge.

I agree with you Chris...the promo is much better looking but I love the promos and promo like stuff anyway. I guess the kit is like it is due to the option of being able to build it as a convertible too.

Jeff...I know that feeling there real treasures. They may need cleaned or need parts and repairs but to me my dads oldies are priceless to me but most of his were 1/25th scale...I have to find parts for them someday and get them restored.

I had that one as a kid...awesome to see one again..! The rear tires will be 2 piece if I remember right the inside is a smaller part made from the same material but almost looks like a ring. If you have any photos of the other parts with the others it might be more helpful to tell what goes with which ones...be glad to help if possible...send me a PM or post here.

Cody...Welcome.... I am a life long builder too...the 53 Ford pickup kit is a good one. Best advise anyone ever gave me on building/restoring models and promos is too treat every part as if it were a model itself...its helped me a lot in the past. Second thing is building is no race build at your own pace.

Andy...a few days ago we had almost 70 out and a severe thunderstorm with wind and pretty good sized hail...around us there was a few funnel clouds close to a touchdown...now its in the 30s with snow in the forecast...?
