  5. I agree with all of the above....very nice...!
  6. That is cool looking... I have a few planed to do someday...hope anyway.
  7. Mike....I like what you trying to do and the route. Snaps are a great way to get the young builders started..or anyone who has never built one before. I have tried to get my 11 year old nephew interested and he built a couple snaps I got him but he spends most of his time on the video games...still trying...he spends way too much time on the games. Id think the best thing to do is find a snap kit of something they like or are into...it might be just the thing to get them interested enough to start in on one. Keep at it at least there interested Mike.
  8. Welcome....to you both...
  9. Andy.... Yes they had a transaxle and torque tube in them....a friend of mine has a wagon with a 428ci ? SD in one hes building a drag car out of it. many had slant 4cyls in them which was 1/2 of a Pontiac 389ci basically so they were pretty easy swaps for a bigger engine.
  10. Decals and work looks nice to me...
  11. Cool project Jeff.... I have a few of the early 70s Dodge 2wd long bed pickups I need to get restored...loved those things.
  12. Ken buddy....That is COOL...I have always liked those Tom Daniels show rod kits...nice work...
  13. Mark...it would be nice to find those full wheel covers for the early Dodge 2wd trucks...I have a couple I am trying to restore. Jeff...I wonder if any other car kits had ones that would work ok for you...????
  14. Scott...I hear you there..those old and odd kits were cool. I have the Chevy open road camper van from my dads old stuff but its missing all the raised roof and camper parts(already has the huge roof plate cut out on it)...need to find those for it...shame they cant re-issue it someday for us all its a great kit.
  15. I just use the wife's emery boards/sticks...there cheap and work great.
  16. Yep it was a slant 6cyl car he drove in the show...cool idea too.
  17. That looks nice..! Its the same car I have from my dads old collection but mine is a factory stock....once I find the needed parts to restore it the plan is to have the slant 4cyl engine in it. If anyone used the AMT AWB kit for the chassis and has no use for the rest please let me know.
  18. Jeff.... I use the disposeable medical type gloves....for the amount you get in a box at the cost its pretty handy.
  19. Love it...! excellent weathering....!
