  1. Very nice.... I like it...
  2. Me too I love the 60s wagons....my mom owned a 68 Plymouth wagon like that one...same resins are out of my budget range...
  3. David.... You can make smoke using cotton balls....with some trial and error you can mist paint or powders to make the different colors of smoke.
  4. Nice...! Reminds me I still need to get one of those Louisville race car transporter kit if they ever show up around here.
  5. I never get to enter group build offs but I do have a group that I support and run(sort of)of disabled builders here locally....I find them what I can to work on and help teach them tips/tricks to building there pretty good at it too now...I try to go see them and have a class every week when my body permits to. Hard part is keeping them supplied with kits they love it and it gives them something to do...a reward in itself.
  6. I have one too but I use the clear and white colored plastic drawer cabinets wal-mart sells to store parts in....nice and easy to find the right part by drawer but I still have a long way to go till I am organized yet.
  7. Very cool... I tried that once with poor results as a kid....nice work.
  8. 1975 Pontiac Trans Am I once owned...bored out 400ci,huge cam,ram air heads and exhaust manifolds,automatic,373 posi, slapstick shifter,160mph speedo....nothing in my area could touch it off the line or top end...I loved that car. My dads 67,68,69,70 Bonnevilles and 69,70 Grand prixs...beautiful cars. My moms old station wagons...64,69,70 Bonnevilles,67,69 Impala,68 Fury and more...still remember riding in the very back of them. My first car...72 Olds Toronado...super nice and running car. My dads old 73 Chevy van...he drove it for years, gave it to my brother then he gave it to me....when I got rid of it it had 479,000 miles on the same un-touched engine other than for normal maintenance still ran great but the body was gone. and others.
  9. As usual your work amazes me....great job on the build and conversion....me Id rather see more mundane builds like these with most everything being a top of the line car kit its great to see more reality of what one would see on any given street in real life....very cool...!
  10. Ian.... I love the 73 Charger wagon kit....had it as a kid very cool....!
  11. I have always loved this kit....just something about older trucks and spoke wheels...cool.
  12. I like it...nice rust... ...not all good models have to be shinny.
  13. Id love to have that box but its WAY out of my grasp....I love the old boxes arts....
  14. Awesome....!
  15. very cool....lots of work went into that build....nice!
  16. Welcome... I was just in Charleston last month visiting family.
  17. Snow is a 4 letter word....so are the temps... only 37 degrees here this morning.
  18. That is AWESOME....! Very nice work....
  19. For me it would be the late 50s through 70s body style Johan...even their snap kits,MPC,AMT,Hubley kits, promos and promo like kits...wagons,4doors,2doors,campers,vans. The longer the car the better....
  20. Id love top get that lucky....nice finds! I love the Rambler wagon and 4 door ones...I am a wagon nut...
  21. I love the older trucks....brute force workhorses of the late 50s through 70s....there under rated in my opinion.
  22. Life is full of good and tough times and so is marriage...some things get better some do not its just life. I believe you have to be able to make fun of life and yourself at times....otherwise you will go nuts. My personal favorite is when something makes the guy mad the wife gets twice as mad because the guy is mad regardless of what he got mad about... ???...LOL...
  23. Nice work....I like it....
