  1. Many years ago when I had my old 75 Trans Am I got stopped by a state policeman thinking what did I do wrong...??? He only wanted to get a better look at it and under the hood since he once owned one...
  2. Very cool.... I always liked the older trucks...looks great.
  3. Whats not to love about a crew cab.....nice work!
  4. Organization is a huge plus...I have several clear pullout drawer type parts bins from Wal-Mart there great to store parts in so there easier to find when needed. Tools are ether on the bench or hang from a pegboard with hooks for easy access. I also like to use the old 60s,70s kit boxes for storage and just to look at and dream.
  5. WOW...! That is the nicest one I have seen so far....excellent work!
  6. Its nice to see someone saving these old models...real pieces of model history.
  7. Id give my eye teeth for 1/2 your skills....stunning work!
  8. Only one word.....Awesome!
  9. Tim.... Id buy any of those if they were kits....maybe 2 or 3 of each!
  10. Same here.... I have the one my dad built many years ago but it needs a lot of restoration and work from years of poor storage conditions. I believe in his stuff there is a 68 and 69 by MPC....they both need to be reissued as the original kit was.
  11. Ouch that has got to hurt...!
  12. I always loved the little accessories that came with the kits...I have a few of the trophies but with wanting to build a few dioramas I find I am looking for all the scale figures I can find so they don't look like a ghost town. There were a few decent scale accessory kits available...garage,equipment,tools,scale figures, etc. but think there out of production now? I think they can add a lot to a build.
  13. Welcome Brain.... I started building around the age of 6 or 7....been addicted ever since.
  14. The SMP 60 Chevy 4door wagon is the onlt one I have ever seen that said Nomad and be a 4door....very cool wagons guys.
  15. What a shame....his talent had brought laughter to many people over the years. We all have to deal with our own demons just some deal with them better than others at one point or another...he will be missed.
  16. I had them all back in the day....will be happy to have another chance at any of them again...2wd option would be great though...there nice kits.
  17. I have this kit....would love to make it have the Gladiator nose and do a factory stock from it.

Plenty of muscle cars were parked at the high school...69 GTO,Pantera,SS Novas and Chevelles, etc. My family owned many cool cars... 71 Cyclone 69-72 grand Prix 64,67,68,69,70 Bonnevilles 70 GTO 75 Trans Am 66,68 Chrysler 300 64,68 Chrysler Imperial 72 Firebird Formula 70s AMC Hornet,Rebel,SST,69 Ambassador,74 AMX 53 Pontiac Chieftain 59,64,69,70,72 Bonneville/Safari wagons late 50s Desoto coupe 29 Ford 5 window coupe 70s International Travelall 67 Chevy Suburban mid 70s Dodge factory custom van early 70s Dodge window van and the list goes on and on...seemed we were always trading and getting another.
