  1. Very nice....I love restoring them myself....great work!
  2. I have to agree with the rest here....the Chevy and GMC and International ones are the easiest to build but if one takes there time any are pretty good kits really. The International truck kits have a better detail or room for it many were from the old 70s Ertl Blueprint series of kits which I loved back then. best advise anyone has ever gave me on building is to treat every part as if it were a model itself...just pick one you like and take your time building and enjoy it.
  3. The one on the left has a much more heavy duty look to it to me.
  4. Try not to worry about it Jim... I have had Nitro pills for years just in case. I also have had the test and a heart cath test done where they run the scope up your artery to your heart. Stress is its own ailment....mindset helps or hurts much more than people know.
  5. The 65 Chevelle wagon kit had them in the issue before the newest reissue. Being a factory stock mostly kind of guy white wall tires in 78 and 70 series width tires are always an issue here.
  6. Nice Monaco and Lincoln....way too cool...
  7. beautiful work... love factory stock builds.
  8. I like it but wish they would leave the builder to add the holes in the body/bumper if wanted...still it looks interesting I might have to get one.
  9. That is beautiful looking!....nice work...my grandmother owned a 66 Skylark GS....been after one to make like hers was.
  10. Nice Skylark.... I have been looking for one of those for years now.
  11. I like it on the old Scout myself....going to have to find the plow from one of these kits now....LOL...
  12. For me it would be these trucks even though I have plenty of cars on my list too... KW mixer Convoy Mack off road Scout or one with a 1/2 cab 71-76 Dodge vans...window,cargo,custom Prestige auto transporter trailer Tyrone Malone Super Boss International 4070A COE International and Massey farm tractor kits 60s Dodge resin crew cab My pockets are so empty there not there missing.
  13. Nice... I have a few old survivors left from my childhood days but they need more work and parts than those....
  14. I have always liked the old Ertl Blueprint series trucks/etc....there great kits. I like everything I see you have done including the shop too...nice work.
  15. That auto transporter kit is COOL....!
  16. That is sweet Chuck!.... Id love to have some of those in kit form.
  17. That is true Skip...one advantage of a larger scale kit is the vast opportunity for adding details beyond the norm. Almost anything done to one scale could be adapted to the other scales with the work. I once built a 1/8th? scale 81 Trans Am with opening doors made mine have power windows, etc. by adding wiring between the doors and body shell, opened the trunk added small light bulbs and a hidden battery and switch so they would work.
  18. I look at it Skip... I like a few of the large scale kits that use to be out....trouble is finding and affording them.
  19. Whats not to like its a wagon... I just picked up 2 Kyle Petty flags at a sale if anyone is interested send me a PM they have never been hung.
  20. I never wrecked my parents cars but did a few of my own and a couple of drag cars racing back in the day. The last one was the worst one got hit from behind while stopped at a red light at around 60mph in a 82 Trans Am...was not good. Cool build I like it...
  21. Cool....Me though I restore the promos to the condition they were like new and rarely ever add any detailing to mine...when they are too far gone to restore I make models from them.
  22. I just picked up a old promo of that...cool.
