  1. That is AWESOME! I love 60s and 70s wagons!
  2. I just finished a trade with Jim(progplastic)great guy to deal with! Done many with Marty(partsmarty) hes a great one too!
  3. Kris... probably did not work well there different scales or at least appear to be ....Me I prefer the Johan kit...to me its much much better even though its a curbside(that never bothers me anyway).
  4. Scott... we use to have real hobby shops here in Quincy,IL. Quincy pet and hobby,K Mart, etc. I can still remember buying kits at them and some I bought there.... IMC-Touch Tone Terror Monogram-(Un-Real Roller)etc. MPC- early to mid 70s Dodge van kits Johan-Heavenly Hearse,Haulin Hearse,60 Plymouth wagon,62 Chrysler 300 which I still have. MPC-late 60s to mid 70s Pontiacs. AMT-Modified Ford pickup race team,Aqua rod Chevy van race team, etc. Man those were the days...now all we have is a hobby lobby that is pretty much a dump site for the chain...
  5. Very nice!.... I wish I had your talent.
  6. Great weathering Paul....! I like it...!
  7. Bill...Nice finds! Id love to find one of those Imperials and 67 Fleet side pickups...NICE!
  8. The 69 to 74 Chevy Caprice and the Chrysler boat....or most of the ones listed here on the tread....basically your post. I myself would be too happy to see many of the old MPCs,Johans,AMTs make a comeback from the 60s and 70s era.
  9. If I won a load of money in a lottery Id first pay off my medical, etc. debts. Then Id make sure all my family had the same and enough to take care of them. Get a house that is paid off. Then id give some to the medical research,church,etc...then if anything was leftover for me Id get me the stuff I need for my dads old collection.
  10. Great casting....shame about the price I can use all the scale figures i can get for my two large 1/25th dioramas...anyone having any to spare please PM me.
  11. LOL... yep they were way out there...LOL... My favorite tire for a model would have to be the old MPC 70 series white walls..polyglass GT? maybe?
  12. PRETTY.... Pretty cool!
  13. Actually John the N50 x 15s were the normal biggest ones found back then. Me I can understand your plight...go through it every time I get a kit that shows nice white wall tires and only black wall ones come with the kit or they include a sticker?
  14. I like it.... May of the Monogram show rods are underrated in my opinion...most of them build into nice models and are fun to build.
  15. Nice work!... I have always liked this body style Cyclone my dad owned one and have a rough factory stock build up that will be like his once I find the parts needed for it. Very nice work!
  16. Chris I never seen that before ether on one with the tires...me I like the early promo tooled kits and promos gotten pretty good at restoring them over the years.
  17. VERY NICE...! I am a huge fan of wagons...very well done impressive work!
  18. Good Idea David...I got to make me one of those since I am always converting 2 doors to 4 doors or wagons and restoring oldies. Thanks!
  19. I've always wished someone made a tool to re scribe or scribe window trim lines that is easy and almost un-fallible...for instance say you cut open a window in a panel and need to make the trim lines for the window.
  20. That is pretty good...
  21. NICE...! I need to get one of those long beds somewhere so I can build a replica of our truck...if anyone has an extra Id love to trade for it.
  22. I need one too...want to build a replica of our 84 Chevy 4x4 long bed.
