I can understand your point of view here Lee....sometimes people are just hoping for a deal or think maybe the other is just tired or not interested in the item there wanting to try and get? There are many kits/models I personally value more than a high dollar kit due to my interests in it. I just traded a expensive rare resin kit of a couple of old promos and some people just do not care for promos at all...me I am different there...depending what there of I love them so I am very happy to make the trade deal. Now on the other hand I always try to keep things happy for both me and the other guy with a trade...both parties have to feel their getting a value from the deal at hand. I guess it depends on who wants what enough in the end?

That is right the 68 Impala kit has never been re-issued it was also available as a promo but there expensive and hard to find...

The original van kit had no roof ribs but did have an opening hood and choice of ether cargo van or window van side panel inserts...loved them....shame they couldn't have brought back those options.

Rust took mine too but had no place to store the engine so I sold it for 300.oo and the guy drove away in it...it had the 350ci 4 bolt main too...great engine!

I once had a 73 Chevy cargo van my dad bought it a year old with 9,000. miles on it gave it to me many years later I drove it forever when I sold it it had 479,000 miles on the same engine with very little ever needed to be done with it....still ran great.

I would have bought them too...love the Johan kits even there snaps were good in my opinion...take all of them I can get. Sure they had flash but to me who cares when you consider the ones they made.

I am just happy there making them for us... now if they would just show up around here at our hobby lobby
