  1. Thanks guys but the credit goes to all modelers for without them the companies would not be there. Being disabled myself from a bad car accident in 96 I had long partial recovery after many surgeries was bedridden for a long time with nothing to do but stare at ceiling tiles and count the dots...LOL.. just could not let anyone else do that if I could do something about it even if things here are very tight like with most of you. I figure I am lucky enough to have my dads old ones to restore so I find stuff at garages sales or here and there for them best I can. Your a great bunch to even care these days and have my appreciation for it. I have been doing this with them for about two years now teaching them tricks and tips and there pretty good builders really and can handle about any of them only one needs help at times with things. If anyone wishes to help just send me a PM. Thanks guys and god bless you all. Mark
  2. I am very honored gents...thank you. Its not easy but nothing ever is in life for most anyone....when people help others it makes it easier for someone.

  8. NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I like it...sweet!
  10. I like the old box art and use the old boxes for model storage. Its also nice to have the old ones for models one has that don't have a box instead of being in a baggie it helps protect them. Another good use I have done with them is wallpaper for the shop.
  11. Id still take any of there 60s to mid 70s models....to me there worth the work for a unique car or something different--glue kits, snaps, promo it does not bother me a bit....the one thing i have is time...LOL...
  12. I grew up on early Johan and MPC,AMT kits. As far as for the flash on the Johans Ill take them...love them.
  13. With a lot of converting you could use a 75 Cutlass for the base model....me Id love to see a Grand Am or GTO of this body style
  14. Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. To get more of my dads oldies restored and to enjoy another year with my family and friends
  16. Does anyone make a 64 Pontiac Bonneville 4door wagon to fit the old AMTs???? My mom had one would love to have one to built like it.
  17. You were lucky to have one...here we haven't had one in about 30 years...just a almost useless hobby lobby never gets much of anything but supplies. They do have brass tubing and paints though....I look at other things for building stock or supplies here we have to pretty much.
  18. The Vampire Van kit is the same as the Barnabas Collins van from years ago just a knock off of it. I was thinking of using old Model T type parts with it...it may be a bit short but then again maybe the casket is just too long? Ether way it has a few other possible building projects from its parts...its up to the imagination I guess.
  19. Id do it if it meant helping someone. besides my friends and neighbors would get a good laugh from it too....laughter is one of the best medicine in the world.
  20. I have the issue called Vampire Van planing to do it as a stock era hearse.
  21. Ill second that....beautiful job!
  22. AMTs 65 Buick Riviera has a nice set of spoke wheels with knock offs.
  23. I have to find body parts from the Hearses to repair my dads two....and seeing this makes me need more very cool.
