  1. Thats cool Vince buddy...there were rumors they did experiment with some wild things in WW11.
  2. Welcome Bill...! We all lifers too here...LOL... glad to have you with us all.
  3. I use these... Wal-Mart sells some plastic file cabinet like things with clear draws that can be added to to make them bigger. Old model boxes...real old ones I just love to look at them and smile for awhile. cardboard boxes. peg board with hooks to hang stuff from. small plastic containers...etc.
  4. Me I love the Monogram show rod kits Tom Daniels put out. For this one though the only thing I like is the skeletons...I need 3 or 4 for a wild project build.
  5. Nice find and a awesome deal there....it can be restored pretty easily in my opinion. I love that display base..!
  6. Welcome Ryan...!
  7. That is cool....love it..!
  8. For me Id have to chose between these if it were ever possible.... 75 Pontiac Trans Am...even one in scale would be great to have since I use to own one. 29 ish Ford or ? coupe hot rod. 76..? Pontiac Can Am. 90s Chevy crew cab short bed 4x4 pickup.

  13. Same here Tim....I love the curbside ones just as much as the full detailed kits...they all can be built into great looking models...just look at this one. Our old 73 was the same as the one your building sure brings back good memories for me.
  14. Nice Caddy...! I have that one a good buddy of mine sent me for my collection....Someday id love to add a 69 and 70 Coupe DeVille HT to it.
  15. Id expect they would put oil..etc. into the air. I have used them to vac out AC systems for repairs and charging them.
  16. Tim...I love it..! Been wanting to do just that myself for some time now...we once were lucky enough to own one years ago.
  17. Thanks Carl buddy....
  18. Thank you brother.
  19. WOW...! Amazing work...!
  20. I think it all boils down to ones ability and resources. Many of us older or younger ones are still learning and many have budget issues too. I am sure all of us wish we could do better with them than the last one...I know I do its like we think there never meet our expectations or wishes always wanting them to be more. I am amazed at some of our handicap builders here that have issues with their hands...some of them are outstanding looking. I have been building all my life and still need to learn many things myself....black washing grilles...foiling...flocking..etc. We all strive for better.
