    NICE...!!! I have the 70 or 71 LTD 4 door HT model but its busted up pretty badly...got to find stuff to fix her....love it.

    Cale.... Your a very lucky guy....I LOVE that Grand Prix....we once owned a 69,70 in the family my mom drove it...been after one or parts to one for years now.

    I agree with you on them Warren....Id like to build one myself its just too cool of an idea not to. For me I could use an older truck or a newer one but not past a 1976 model year. One would have to have the stuff to start one anyway..LOL..!

    Bummer...! I have the old Window van but it needs a lot and work...missing a few things. I also have the camper van Mini motorhome but its missing all the overhead camper parts and camper interior parts to it..has a huge hole in the roof where they had cut it out...another bummer...I really like the camper one.

    Yep those are cool too...me..Id like to find the workshop or ambulance ones. I have a old glue bomb busted up I might be able to do something with but its missing the complete chassis and wheels and tires. Its beyond rough. If you like van kits and dont mind the large scale its one you need to get to do. My grail of the van kits is MPCs 71-75 Dodge van and AMTs 70s Chevy mini motorhome van.

    WOW...!!! Stunning work and build...!!! You wouldn't happen to have any factory stock parts from it would you..??? I have a couple I have been trying to restore.

    Dann buddy...it was...they made a factory stock window van...workshop van...ambulance van...and a couple of custom ones of them...all were awesome even had working twin I beam front suspension with them and some had opening doors too.

    Joe...Sorry to hear and see this happen....I had one a few years ago that actually had tire tracks on it and was about an inch or two tall....had one of my grails inside it...Johan 66 Chrysler 300 HT kit........Ill never be able to find another one for the deal I got on it.

    I cant agree with you more Bill. I miss the power and styling they had...they were real cars. My first car was a 72 Olds Toronado...never asked me for anything. I hate the fact most newer cars all look the same and rear wheel drive is almost a thing of the past. With todays prices one would expect a little more from them. I had a 72 Chevy van with a 350ci in it..it had 479,000. miles on her when I sold it due to the body condition still ran awesome and was very reliable.

    Yeah Ill need to get this one if its a straight re-issue of the original with all parts included....I could use the vans side glass on a window van I have for one.

    Cool..! I have been wanting to build a replica of one the family had owned once...it was a crew cab long bed...,shame they dont bring the early 70s ones back out with the long bed for us.

    They sure would Mike...along with factory stock wheel covers too. I have been waiting over 10 years to restore mine but without the doors..?

    Nice work saving this old one. I have a 59 Buick convertible that was just like it for the most part....I restored it to factory stock and believe me it was a challenge. I had to re-scribe a lot of the trim on it but it came out nice.

    What irked me today...??? Well the other day I had a member of a facebook model collector/builder site ask me what all parts I need to repair/restore my dads old ones with and my project builds..(knowing I needed old and hard to find parts) mind you. So I spend an hour typing out the huge long list of them for him...I get a reply back of..(I dont get rid of any of my older parts)..??? Now mind you I understand someone not wanting to let go of stuff I have some that way myself...but he knew I was looking for old and rare parts..etc. in the first place. Why waste someones time and hope like that...???

    Very nice...! I have the old jeep with the 1/2 cab but mine is missing the doors to it sadly.

    My dad owned one with the 429ci...4 speed once....I wanted that car so bad. From his old collection I have a 70 and a 71 model but sadly they both need a lot of parts and work thanks to a tornado here in 2011...along with many others. Stunning build..!!!
