  1. Cassey buddy...That one has been calling my name too..LOL..its a great kit I had the original issue once.
  2. OMG..! You have the 70 Pontiac Bonneville HT kit..???...your very lucky...I have one but its in need of a body and glass for it..we once owned many old Bonnevilles over the years. OK..you can do this buddy...I have had to rebuild my room twice due to tornadoes we had here...if I can do it anyone can..LOL.. You have a great collection. I started in one corner of the room and went from there rebuilding mine...you just need to have a plan on what you want it to be like first. I lined the walls of mine with my kits and projects that have boxes...that way it makes finding them much easier when needed. I put some pegboard up to hang things on and behind my workbench to hang tools and supplies on for easy access. Building is no race..take your own time. Treat every part as if it were a model itself..that advise has never let me down buddy. Little by little you will have a great model room it just takes time here and there...being disabled I know this well. I also made a bottle paint rack from wood to set on my workbench pegboard wall. I got several plastic storage bins that snap together that have clear-ish drawers so I can see what parts are in them and there sorted out. I have a old store display cabinet to put builds in and the small plastic cases they sell. If you need any ideas of advise I am always willing to try to help out...just PM me.
  3. I have been wanting to do a couple of these myself...we once owned a few of the early ones. Main issue is finding the early 70s pickup parts to do them with.
  4. I really hope that happens...I LOVE the little extras the kits came with....hope the pickup is a original long bed like it once was.
  5. Mike... I wonder if the MPC 75 Vette glass and post frame would fit a MPC 68 Vette roadster promo..???
  6. Dann...Man I am sorry to hear that brother...hope you get something for it from them. I had a James Bond kit that just disappeared in flight from the U.K. awhile back...???
  7. Richard...yeah I know the Grand Prix Super Fly kit is an abomination of what was a great factory stock kit once but I have a sentimental reason for wanting one...LOL..
  8. id love to be able to find one of those...I have the same model but it has storm damage to it...body and glass are toast.
  9. Patrick... Id love to build some of those. I had a MPC Grand Prix (Super Fly ) as a kid would love to build another one.
  10. Welcome Nate..! Never be afraid to ask a question...there is a great bunch here with many years of experience that are willing to help out. The best advise anyone ever gave me on building is to treat every part as if it were a model itself...and it will show. Time and experience is the best teacher...we all learn something new every day...me included and I have been building all my life.
  11. I like it...!
  12. WOW..! That is so cool....I love crew cabs.
  13. VERY NICE...!!! Now there is one of my dreams.
  14. Thanks...Ill need it...LOL..
  15. NICE...!!! I have the 70 or 71 LTD 4 door HT model but its busted up pretty badly...got to find stuff to fix her....love it.
  16. Cale.... Your a very lucky guy....I LOVE that Grand Prix....we once owned a 69,70 in the family my mom drove it...been after one or parts to one for years now.
  17. I agree with you on them Warren....Id like to build one myself its just too cool of an idea not to. For me I could use an older truck or a newer one but not past a 1976 model year. One would have to have the stuff to start one anyway..LOL..!
  18. Bummer...! I have the old Window van but it needs a lot and work...missing a few things. I also have the camper van Mini motorhome but its missing all the overhead camper parts and camper interior parts to it..has a huge hole in the roof where they had cut it out...another bummer...I really like the camper one.
