  1. THD's brain seems to have retired from common sense a long time ago, therefore he still qualifys for entry and of course, acceptance into the hall. We are currently having trouble fabricating/scratchbuilding the plaque however, due to lack of information on custom re-invented water based chroming techniques and airbrushes. Perhaps a plaque wrapped in fine interior leather would suffice....Oh wait!! that tutortial was never completed either....
  2. Sorry, I've run out of my standard supply of humor with all the asinine claims you have been making...Besides, NONE OF THIS DOG PUCKY YOU HAVE CREATED HERE IS HUMEROUS ANYMORE...NONE OF IT!! You're a delusional clown...You're a liar, and you have brought just about all of this mess upon yourself. Now you bascially cry and complain because the heat in the kitchen is too hot, and you're sweating up puddles all over the floor.....Boo-freakin-hoo. Maybe the next time you go looking for a dustup, you should cover your bases a little better and leave yourself a proper escape route once things become too much to handle. Mark Jones has pretty much completely owned you in the Lancer slot car body thread. [You know, the one in which you totally lied about pattern making] In fact, you've been owned so bad in all this lying and decieving game, that I have officially inducted you into the MCM hall of shame..Congrats, buddy, I know you must be proud now. You might want to think about putting down the scotch bottle or brandy snifter...Some of your babbling almost seems as if your intoxicated as your beating away at the keyboard with your senseless jive. Please go get some professional help. By the way, Leave Nick Winters out of this...He's a 14 year old kid dealing with his own personal issues...You on other hand are grown adult who should know better. like I said before in another post, Your reputation is shot. I hope this was all worth it for you. Nice job, Einstein.
  3. Dave has bascially shot himself in the foot and ruined his reputation with all these half-truths and fibs and such about Chrome paint, diecast parts, and this, that, and the other things..etc, etc. He simply won't man up and properly explain things, nor will he clearly answer any of the questions that have been asked to him for months on end. He's been repeatedly asked to try and accomodate us yet he stands here in the shadows watching the threads play out to the bitter end... Good luck at the next GSL Dave, your stuff is gonna to be going under a powerfull microscope and will be CLOSELY examined to see just what is what. Fibbing about stuff has caught up with you and now it's time to pay the piper. Tell me where to send the funeral flowers, because your modeling rep is now 6 feet under. Hope you're happy now. It's disgusting that this is how you choose to leave things.....Sad, just sad.
  4. Treeman has been checking in often, but no replies... Mr Susan, we're keeping the podium/lectern warm for you, please feel free to step up to the front of the room to take the microphone and elaborate for us...It's time to put your big boy pants on and explain just what this chrome system you have is...As you can see your modeling bretheren are waiting.....Do they not mean anything to you, Sir?
  5. Perhaps he's working on a special prototype fan to use for.....[well, you know] Drum roll, cymbal crash...
  6. You hit the nail spot on...It's almost like the treeman was talking down to some folks on this forum with that comment. It was a bit of implied and creative insulting to say the least. Subtleness is not one of Tree's strong points.
  7. Gee wiz Georgia boy, If you're so impressed with handling tough situations in private then why didn't you take it upon yourself to flames folks by PM, instead of out on the open forum? You know why you did it here? It's because you WANTED everyone here to see it...Your change of heart now seems a bit transparent. You turn up the heat in the kitchens, then run away as soon as things get to hot for comfort.. Sorry, but it seems like you're trying to shake proverbial hands now with a zap buzzer hidden on your palm...I ain't buying it, cause when it's time for the next forum flare up, there you'll be with your customary banter for all to see. Peace out, Daddio... By the way, you may want to bring one of these along next time....You seem to pretty good at using them.
  8. You know what sparky, what I really want to say to you, will only get me banned, so I won't give you the sat of seeing that happen...Instead, I'll let Mark flush you face down in the toilet with a much more elegant manner... You ain't worth anymore keystrokes, Jackass. Go build and actually finish something, and stick your pot stirring wooden spoons in your ear, Mate.
  9. Just as I suspected... Your attitude ain't changed a bit. I've made all the 2 cent deposits here that I'm willing to spend... Good day, Sir. and best o luck to ya.
  10. Are you serious? You're going to wait till you accumulate enough love and fan support till you post another tutorial? Seems a little egotistical to me..I don't think anyone here is going to beg you from their hands and knees to share your "trade secrets". Be a man, and post up the info. Why play the cocky attitude card again? That game plan didn't seem to go real well for you the first time around.
  11. I agree.....this could have been handled a few months back. And Yeah, George obviously has his big wooden spoons out to help stir up a steaming pot of an uneccessary situation, when in fact all we wanted were a few questions answered.
  12. I'm jealous that Dave has a secret chrome plating/painting system he's figured out but won't share any details or elaborations...
  13. Holy leather interiors, Batman!!....Treehugger is back!
  14. Great work ....really really nice.
  15. Thanks Len, I may go ahead and pick up that PE set anyway. Perhaps one day, The'll do a complete grill assembly for this car.. You did a super job on this kit. The grill looks excellent the way you have it...Nice work!!
  16. It's always intersting that the most worthless, substance lacking threads here get the most traffic and input... But, if somebody were to post a really nice kick ass model, it barely gets a page of comments. Dukefan is an absentee member these days, yet this thread here shoots up to 3 pages in less than a day......Good gawd.
  17. Len, Is that the PE grill for the AMT Nova from Model car garage? I heard several times that it doesn't fit to well on the revell Nova, but yours looks pretty good. Any mods to the grill needed to get it to fit right?
  18. I agree with Mark and Harry. It couldn't hurt to try something....It may work out or it may not....But at least TRYING is better than just sitting back and laughing at the thought like some here are doing.
  19. Good, clean, custom. Not too overdone, very nice!!
  20. Agreed. The hobby is far to vast and diverse to call somebody "the best". There's thousands and thousands of great builders. Some are well known, and some are not known at all.. The hobby simply doesn't revolve around any one person or any group of persons. There's also a BIG difference between naming off FAVORITE builders and naming off WORLD CLASS builders. Some here seem to struggle with that difference.
  21. Dave, I couldn't help but notice that your Sig says your name, then home of the petty car and vintage mopar trans am stuff...Do you actually personally own the posey and petty cars?
