  1. Now that I've completed some plumbing repairs at the house, I can now get back to a little modeling...My work area is in the utility room and I had to shut things down for a bit and install a new water heater. Here's a look at few simple projects to get back into the swing of things..These are all subject to change since I don't have any set plans for them... Here's where things stand now..
  2. That's looking real nice, Bob..The hard line plumbing looks great. It's a pain trying to get them all arranged and nice and even like that...Good work!!
  3. I agree, I don't see anything bad going on with this thread...at least not yet. A little kidding around and harmless joking is good for the soul. The "sour grapes" song & dance has been going on now for way too long. Everyone needs to loosen up a bit, and have a good time coming to the forums instead of each "clique" meeting at the flag-pole at 3:00 in the afternoon for online gang fights. Aren't some of you tired of beating each other over the head with the keyboards? Give it rest. It's old now. Nobody ever wins...The forum as a whole is the big loser because it detracts from the good things this place has to offer. For those of you who want to continue fighting, I suggest you grab your gym bags and head on down to your local Boxing/wrestling clubs or MMA/cage fighting centers and duke it out with real opponents...Try and save this place for relaxing and learning how to build better models.. Life is hard enough. Why continue urinating all over this place? This is where people are supposed to come to relax and spend some free time learning about the hobby, sharing work, and seeing some great models. If some of you are really hell bent on continuing fighting and pressing your luck, head over to the local bars and go up and punch the biggest guy in the room in the face as hard as you can, and hope he doesn't get back up.... Fighting here on the net isn't much of a challenge...Computers can't hit back. Good day to all and happy modeling...
  4. No, but proxys do! ..... One nice big troll account comming up, served with a side order of sarcasm..
  5. Thanks for the trolling tips....I'll go create a "sub account" using fake stats for 'special use only'..
  6. Another thing I've always thought that was strange are the fellas who proclaim that they hate Rules and drama threads, but yet they post in them!!...... Why? Why do folks say they hate something, and then go and stand in line waiting to participate? Is that the new "cool" or something? Say you hate something that's controversial, but then go and add to it? Does saying you hate something first, but then going and doing it absolve you of the self ownage and embarrassment some feel afterwards?....... Strange practices indeed..
  7. I agree....There's tons of other ways to get info on people... Hell, you can get info on somebody by simply going through their trash cans...[which are typically left at the curb and are readily available to those who are up to no good.]..You'd be surprised how many folks toss out important documents with out bothering to shred stuff..or they get stupid and leave their wallet/other personal items containing data in the car... Posting your name on the net isn't that big of a deal. I'll bet alot of these folks who are complaining about getting their ID stolen here and are avoiding the rules and not wanting to use their names, are some of the same one's who are careless and toss out their personal info without using the fireplace or a good shredder.....
  8. Another big problem I'm noticing are the cowardly folks who are now creating troll accounts to try and heckle the forum in stealth...I mean really, that's just pathetic!! Maybe we need the software to start displaying IP addresses of all users like they do over on the Spotlight message board...Time to tighten up the noose. The mods better start watching the IP address log in panel real close..Things are going get ugly if that game is allowed to continue.
  9. LOL, very true.....Real men don't follow instruction manuals......
  10. 6,000 is actually not that much in terms of a large member count....Some of the sports forums I'm on for instance, have 20,000-50,000 participants. Surprisingly, there's much less fighting and rules breaking on those forums, than there is here at MCM.......and you know how crazy sports fans can get... Alot of the troublemakers here, wouldn't last very long on those other forums...They would be lucky to have thier accounts survive half a day if they were going around heckling and causing issues like they do here...It's kinda weird how some of those bigger sites seem to have better control over the members......or so it seems at least.
  11. yeah, perhaps.... it wasn't that bad, I've seen much worse here...Oh well, I was just getting ready to get the popcorn and a cold drink.
  12. You bet!!.... the thread has been so heavily watered down and G-rated, it would be best to just delete the whole thing now....
  13. FYI!!.....*disclaimer* [ This thread has been heavily modified from it's original format by the administration.] It now reads quite incomplete, like a book missing several chapters...LOL...
  14. LOL.....Harry is that you reducing all the pic sizes?.....
  15. Come on now, don't be a wimp.....If you're going to give us a pic like, that at least give us some nipple and face the Ban like man!!
  16. I agree with Scale-master....The fairings/antenna mounting surfaces usually tend to be a bit further down in the holes on typical frenched applications.....[at least the one's I have seen as well.] Cool tutorial to help get things started though....
  17. No James.....not at all... Rommel was refering to the folks who hijack somebody's model thread and start posting their own projects on the same thread. What happened in the "show your stuff" was a totally different issue, under much different circumstances.. But I see where you're trying to take this......
  18. Heres an updated version of Skeck's model.....[Note the "in use" family pic....]
