  1. Yes, but the rear calipers seem to lack anchor plates. The calipers are just "floating" over the rotors, but other than that, not bad, not bad,..... Awesome work Mark....[i'm just messin with you].. Excellent paint detailng!!
  2. Here's an AMT version I'm working on...
  3. I agree... Some of these older kits, [even with the metal axles], really build up into nice replicas..It takes a bit more elbow grease sometimes, but the finished model is worth the effort. The bodies of some of those older kits seemed much more accurate than some of the blocky looking stuff of today's kits. Kind weird they got the accuracy real close back then, but not so much these days, even with better technology....
  4. Nice work, Looks good!! The only thing that makes me a little nervous is your trans pan seems to be laying on the ground?!. I've always liked this Car....["tx-rat" also did a great version of this one as well]. Good stuff!!
  5. Little rubber 0-rings may work better for the wheelie-bar tires...Just a suggestion.
  6. Here's a couple of other clunkers I built last year....Lindberg Lincoln and the Christine pro-mod...
  7. Here's a resin body merc I picked up in a trade. It's the flinstone matranga thing [i think] Anyway, I put my own spin on things and here's what's left of it.
  8. Not really much to this kit, a little paint, a little foil, and a few extra details, and it was done...
  9. Built this one several years ago...Crappy photography, but the model looked ok. Sold it off on ebay a while back..
  10. Here's my take on the boss nova kit..Just a few modifications, light details, and some wacky paint...
  11. Here's another little project of mine that had no real direction. Just an assortment of parts and such...It's a swap meet glue bomb body that I cut up and had fun with...
  12. I'm not sure about "trading" Barbs, but you can "purchase" Barbs at most well stocked aquarium centers/tropical fish stores. [some places may accept trades however if the fish are in good and healthy condition. You'll need to check with your local retailers to be sure however..] Theres several kinds of popular Barbs for instance, tiger barbs green tiger barbs And the common tin foil barbs.. I'm not sure they would be much use to you as far as exotic cuisine goes...They are rather small and likely wouldn't be very flavorful. They are primarily used in tropical aquariums, not cooking.
  13. Thanks, Yeah, I've oftened wondered myself where the lost model stuff ends up...I figured by now this thing might have turned up at some show, swap meet, ebay, or whatever the case...As far as I know, It's still lost, or maybe it's been robbed for it's parts which now reside in somebody elses project.....sigh...
  14. I was originally going to have lime green & yellow traditional flames going down the full length of the car, but had too many projects to get done, so I just hit the body with the metal flake orange and called it a day... The interior color would have matched up with the exterior layout I had in mind at the time...Oh well, onto the next one. [i don't own this model anymore.]
  15. Posting another one of my older toys...This one was either stolen or lost by the USPS workers, [never to be seen again when I shipped it to a buddy]....Oh well, at least I have these remaining pics...
  16. I'm moving another oldie to the "glass section" from another thread...It's a monogram '65 vette that I butchered up and had some fun with...
  17. I posted this in the "show your stuff" thread, but figured I'd put it back over here in the under glass section. Its an R&R resin with a few "extra parts" thrown in... a few other images of the detail parts..
  18. The original shows were hilarious...It'll be interesting if they can re-capture the same feel and comedy the second time around. Sometimes remakes just don't do as well, but we'll see if things pan out. Might be fun to watch. I liked the King of the Hill stuff...."Hank Hill" was actually a spin off character from "Mr Anderson" on the B&B show. hank hill... tom anderson
  19. I'm not sure if this is true, but I heard they are supposed to be making 30 new episodes of that show..I'm assuming it'll be shown on MTV..?
  20. I'm not sure how to season it, but you can actually order roasted stingray at some seafood places...I'd probably try it, but it looks a bit rubbery....Who knows.
  21. Not sure if I posted this here in the under glass section, but here's a '48 ford pro streeter I built a while back. These are the only two remaining pics I have of it, and the car was sold off, but it was a fun model to work on.
