  1. Good looking model, Dominik, but that is a 1967 Ford Mustang GT and not a Shelby GT350.
  2. Getting close is all we can do. If Mike Finnegan decides to make a change to Blasphemi, since he is still racing the car, we may not know about the change or even see it. It might be a change that is out of camera range.
  3. Thanks John! I found a partial can of Tamiya TS-53 Deep Metallic Blue that I once used on a Ford GT. It should be dark enough to match the Dupli-Color Stellar Blue Pearl that I originally used on the '29 Model A.
  4. A mockup to check my work. This is looking great and I wished I thought of it earlier! I sanded the body and now to take it apart for a bath. The firewall will be primed and painted, but I don't know if it would be white or body colored. John took the original dash and I had a spare from the AMT '32 Ford Phaeton. Now to primer it, paint and detail it. More Model A to come...
  5. Thanks David and Jim! I usually glue some or all of my wheels on and usually for rake or height. I have not done anything about the paint issue yet, but I do have some ideas. I had this vision of using the Coupe's inner structure and it just doesn't fit. So I took the Roadster's inner structure and placed inside the Roadster's body and, of course it fits better. I took my hobby knife and scored the interior panels and removed them and I liked the look a whole lot better. I am moving forward and using these side panels instead. More Model A to come...
  6. Looking good, John!
  7. This is the third version of the Revell '29/'30 Model A that I have assembled. I always dread putting on the front wheels and tires since I worry that I may break the front axle. I have decided to trim the front pins and use them for a locating pin instead and gluing the wheel on. This also prevents the model from moving needlessly on a table or other flat surface.
  8. Thanks David! In the past, I have used left over gauges for use in these Chargers. I no longer have any since they were all used.
  9. They show now, but they weren't showing before. I like them especially the blue LT1/ZR1. Great job!
  10. The Story Lt. Det. Troy observes Det. Darvell rushing into Homicide and he takes the disc in his pocket and inserts it into the D Drive of his computer and he watches the screen. Adam walks out from his office to Darvell's desk and he asks what he has found. Darvell points out the car in the video backing out and hitting Shawn Whittaker's car. Darvell wants to view the license plate of the car that hit Whittaker's but it was too small. He says that he has to take the disc down to Audio/Video Forensics to get an enhance picture of the plate. He pops the disc out and he waddles out of Homicide to see if they can enhance the picture. Lt. Det. Troy likes to see Darvell working so hard. Maybe he is turning over a new leaf! He heard that Darvell is thinking of taking the Sergeants Exam. The Build I have assembled the interior and added a laptop computer and a two-way radio to the interior. I will add a power cord and an antenna cable to the back of the radio. McNally will return...
  11. I've been working on assembling the chassis. I sure hate these spindly front suspensions! Anyway, the chassis is up on its wheels and tires and it's level, too. Now, to figure out what I am going to do about the body... More Model A to come...
  12. Thanks for the tip, RRR! This particular paint must be very hot since I have used Dupli-Color paint over Tamiya primer without any issues what so ever. I have been assembling the chassis and the wheels and tires. More Model A to come...
  13. I primered and painted the '29 Roadster today, but the results were not what I had hoped for. This hot paint crazed the plastic inspite of the primer I used. I guess some sanding is in order for this hot rod. More Model A to come...
  14. Thanks Michael and RRR! After I had finished the engine, I took a look at the Small Block Chevy in my first '29 Model A Roadster and the engine is very close to the firewall. So much so that I removed the ignition coil and laid it flat on top the the driver's side of the intake manifold. This should help with any clearance issues.
  15. I have finally finished the Small Block Chevy with its three deuces. I wired the engine and added a ignition coil since Revell never included one. More Model A to come...
  16. Thanks RRPjr! To answer your question, yes this kit does come with an automatic transmission.
  17. That's a neat idea!
  18. Thanks Carl and David. The Story Darvell drives back to the parking lot and the crime scene. He looks around on the pavement for any additional evidence and he finds nothing. He then looks at the light poles and surrounding buildings for any cameras and he notices several on the building across the street at a business called Fenway Collectibles and Memorabilia and he waddles across the street and he enters the store. He meets the owner and he asks about the cameras around the building. The cameras have been recording all the time and Darvell asks about one that is aimed towards the parking lot across the street. The owner shows Darvell to a back room and the recording equipment. The recorder is backed up to the time of the murder and the camera recorded the entire incident. Darvell wants the disc and the owner pops the disc out of the recorder and hands it to Darvell who writes a receipt on his notebook and tears ot out and gives it to the owner. Darvell races out of the store and back to BPD to view the disc. The Build I painted the interior, detailed it and assmbled the fronts seats and the console. McNally will return...
  19. The Story Darvell questions McNally about Cannon talking to him in private and McNally tells him that Cannon had asked about him. Darvell wants to knkow if Cannon is going to help him and McNally says that he thinks he will. Darvell goes wild and his erratic movements and gestures caught the attention of Mr. Virden and Cannon's body guards with McNally telling Darvell to get into the car and be quiet. They leave Legal Seafood and drive back to McNally's house and Darvell is quiet the whole way. At McNally's house, Darvell gets out of McNally's car and slams the door, lights his cigar stub and he gets into his Crown Victoria, slamming the door and he drives away. The Build I clearcoated the body, hood and front and rear panels with Testors Gloss Clearcoat Lacquer. Three coats of paint and three coats of clear. The clearcoat really brought out the color. McNally will return...
  20. Thank you David and Larry!
  21. Thank you Oliver, David, Bob and Greg!
  22. The Story McNally and Darvell drive down to Legal Seafood for the meeting with Alexander Cannon. As they approach, Virden and an associate get up and stop the two detectives. Virden says that Cannon has changed his mind and he will not meet with them today. McNally can tell that Darvell wants to bust some heads and he tries to calm him down. Cannon gets up from his table and walks over to them and he has them sit at a table away from away from other customers. McNally asks about the Red Sox game last night and if Cannon saw anything about a young man being killed after the game. Cannon says no, but he will ask his friends who were at the game with him if they saw anything. Cannon asks if he could speak to McNally alone and McNally tells Darvell to wait for him by his car and Darvell gets up and he walks over to McNally's car and waits. Cannon asks why was Darvell with him and he tells Cannon that Darvell is trying to find his killer and he wasn't trying to entrap Cannon. He thinks for a moment and tells McNally that all is good and he thanks him for his time and he gets up and returns to his table and his wife. The Build Paint was flying tonight as I painted the body, interior and related parts. McNally will return...
  23. Thanks Carl and RRR! Carl, it's a '30, not a '32!
  24. Thanks Greg, Bob and Stephen! The engine is almost complete except for wiring and an ignition coil.
  25. Thank you David and Larry!
