  1. I think Reps. and Mins. of MD has resin surf boards. Lyle or some of the other MAMA guys would know for sure.
  2. Very cool Lyle! That interior is awesome!
  3. Like Dan, I'm lucky enough to be in the same clubs as Bill Geary, Lyle Willits, Irv Arter...don't know about historical relevance...but there are quite a few builders whose work I admire who I have yet to meet. Steve Boutte, Christopher Roldan, BlueMoose, JayVee, my ol' cyber-buddies Brian Fowler, Pat Redmond, Mark Hadley...hopefully by getting to shows like NNL EAst again and Toledo (not happening this year but maybe next) I'll get to meet some if not all of them.
  4. Oh yeah! That is lookin' SHARP! Have to agree with the others...the silver roof looks awesome. I have several more of those in the stash...just need to stock up on BMF!
  5. Hey Steve, if you want to drive another hour or so the first Saturday of each month the CPMCC meets in Mt. Wolf PA. I know a couple of the Silent Traffic guys are members...Dan Peterson and Mike Cole...maybe more. CPMCC has a lot of great members in it. Check us out sometime. You aren't too terribly far from the MAMA's either in Greenbelt MD.
  6. Had to take advantage of the good weather that we usually don't have this time of the year in PA. Pro Modeler '69 Charger painted with Rainbow Products Q5 Turquoise and Krylon Fusions Satin White. Revell '68 Firebird painted with MCW Corovan Maroon This is as far as I have these two other than the engines started and other parts cleaned up and primed. Thanks for looking!
  7. Nicely done! Hey Dan you better get busy...by the time you get yours finished!
  8. Ned will be 15 in a couple months...
  9. Nash Bridges kit with Rainbow Products Bahama Yellow. Box stock other than the plug wires.
  10. Thanks for the great comments guys...Yeah Bill, I'll have it at the picnic. Ned might have one done too! See you there.
  11. Paging Brian Fowler...you have a call on the white courtesy phone...
  12. Finally done with this thing. Not as nice as Irv's but I guess it'll do! Revell Standard Coupe, wheels and tires from the Tom Daniels Cabriolet kit. Paint is HOK Candy Scarlet over Duplicolor Gold. No clear. Axles were narrowed and the stance lowered. Wanted the front a little lower but it's done now. Tri-carb s and intake from the '36 Ford street rod kit. Radiator tubes are fron a discarded radio antenna with heat shrink tubing. Cut slots in the rear fenders for tail lights and backed them with BMF covered sheet colored with a red Sharpie. Reps and Mins dashboard in an otherwise straight forward interior. Thanks for looking.
  13. Keep us posted on these! What color ya thinking for the '50? Wheels? Can't wait to see it progress!
  14. I'll be 43 a couple weeks after Pat's couple weeks.
  15. Just thought I'd welcome my good buddy and club-mate Dan.... With a pic of a T bolt of course!
  16. Very cool! Can always count on something original from you Lyle!
  17. Well I guess I can just box up the '40 I'm working on and throw it away now...that is SWEEEET!!! Glad you found your way over to this board Irv...and like Bill Geary said ...miss seeing you at the CPMCC meetings all the time (not that I've been getting to too many meetings lately  )
  18. Go right ahead and steal away Dave...I don't have a patent on any of my stupid ideas! If I wanted to keep it a secret I wouldn't post it on the board!
  19. Chrome radiator tubes made from an old radio antenna and heat shrink tubing. Here's what they look like on the flattie... Wheels and tires from the '34 Cabriolet.. Paint is HOK Candy Scarlet over Duplicolor gold...no clear.
  20. Welcome fellow central Pennsylvanian! I am in York, well Leader Hgts actually...and I too am a member of the CPMCC...like Bill said, maybe you can check us out!
  21. Some very nice looking hot rods there!
