  1. Awesome job MJ!
  2. Nice! That color looks pretty darn close to the gunmetal/charcoal color that the factory used in those days. A couple years ago at the Mopars at Carlisle show they gave away a '73 Roadrunner that was gunmetal with a white stripe...great job on yours!
  3. Very nice! I usually don't like the modern engine-in-an-old-rod deal but that looks pretty cool! Great job on the weathering!
  4. Hey Billy...if you decide to sell some street car kits let me know...I might be interested in some.
  5. Cool stuff! Thanks for sharing!
  6. That is just too cool! Very nice as always Lyle!
  7. Great pics Lyle. Sorry I wasn't there Saturday. I was there all day Friday and Sunday with the club. Lots of cool cars there and yes...it was hot! From what I hear the Make-n-Take on Saturday went well and the model display the CPMCC put up generated a lot of interest.
  8. Very nice! That is a great kit and you did a fine job on it!
  9. I don't think the black would be your ground. The white wire would be your common or nuetral and the black wire would be one speed and the red wire would be the other speed. Why don't you just leave the range hood switch as is and use it that way?
  10. Great pics Gregg! It was nice meeting you and I'm honored that you picked one of my builds to photograph considering all of the quality work that was there to choose from. Hope to see you again next year! Congrats to Jeff Sauber as well...I had to leave before the awards were given out...but I knew who was gonna win! Well deserved!
  11. I'll be there...have several builds to bring along. Looking forward to a great show as always by the MAMA'S Boys.
  12. I think what you need to do is buy three more Chargers and build all four versions! If I had to pick one, I think I like the Bronze with black stripe. Don't see too many built painted Bronze.
  13. Very sharp build! Welcome aboard.
  14. Great job...I have a half dozen of those in the stash to do someday!
  15. That hot rod is SWEEEEEET! Love the detailed flattie! Very nice stuff!
  16. Actually Dan, I think it would be best if the club bought me a ticket to Hawaii so I can personally see that the info gets to Gregg. Talk to Tony about a ticket and lodgings for ....I dunno...a week maybe. Yeah, that should do it. Can't chance important club information to the post office or e-mail.
  17. That is SHARP! Thanks for sharing!
  18. Bill, I'll give you $40 for your Daytona Charger...save you the time and hassle of putting it on Ebay, packing and shipping, etc.
  19. One safety note regarding spray booths. If you are using this booth in the same room as where an oil or gas-fired water heater or furnace is located you need to make sure you have an inlet for fresh air into that room. Open a window on the other side of the room. Otherwise the booth could draw carbon monoxide out of your furnace or water heater.
  20. Great stuff! Welcome to the board and post some more of your builds!
  21. I guess my main skill is getting online and appreciating other peoples builds. I like doing engine detailing...often times I find myself adding little details that can't even be seen once the engine is in the car. My painting is okay...usually I get what I think is a pretty nice finish on a car and I take it to a show or club meeting and then I see what a REALLY nice paint job is...usually on something done by Lyle Willits, Irv Arter, Cruz, Mike Hemp...etc etc! I don't do a lot of scratchbuilding ( except little engine doodads) and my interiors suck. I don't build a lot of convertibles so I don't put a lot of effort in the interiors.
  22. Very sharp!
  23. Nice save! Love the colors!
  24. WOW! Very nice!
