  1. thanks guys Nick, yea I had a slight decal isue too. At the rear of the Cragar decal on the right hand side you can see a slight tear where the decal ripped in half, thought I had it lined up pretty good but it must have moved a little when I put it down. I've got a couple more along with the new Slixx decal sets, so will do another 3 soon.
  2. most of this next pic's of the last few weeks aquisitions and what cant be seen on top is anpther Johan Boss Hoss fc and resin and unboxed kits fill these
  3. well I too plan on building all mine, so none for sale but I seem to be buying a LOT more than I'm building lately
  4. beautiful job Carl
  5. great job so far Bill, love the what it should look like approach too. the pro mods are going too far in body mods (in my opinion anyway) as well much like modern day funny cars they're starting to become shapless wedges, the one thing I didnt expect to ever happen to pro stock. Anyway loving your build , hope to see some more progress soon.
  6. old MPC Fed, unfortunately showing showing its age with bad injection marks and warpage but none the less, a cool looking shelf model.
  7. WOW seriously cool ( and very good) work
  8. very very cool Kerry
  9. Scott. yes I'd leave the mirror mounting panels in, easy enough especially in resin to remove later. Dale , on Scotts behalf, resin is easier than styrene to cut as its softer ( sands way easier too). and its probably easier to cast the body in one piece. The only real difference in working resin compared to styrene is the glue you cant use ie styrene glues. As for the chassis, you're better off building your own for these types of builds as none of the kits produced have been updated since the mid 90's hope I didnt step on any toes here, Brett
  10. thanks guys
  11. nicely done Dale. It's looking good!
  12. the bodywork master has returned now hang around this time !
  13. a truer statement has never been said, I know exactly what you mean
  14. Tin work looks great Joe, as typical , another wild build from you.
  15. looking really good so far Scott, its only plastic has to be pretty far gone to not be able to glue it back together
  16. Check your windscreen fit before you paint, because they dont generally fit . Add a small strip of styrene around the opening where needed to close the gap
  17. I agree, very well though out and presented. Jim, gassers were at least , before the match racing days required to run full drivers compartment upholstery, head lights and wipers ie very street appearing ( apart from the high stance which again came more into play with the later match racing days). One of the more complex classes in a lot of ways as things changed quite fast ,and as models the kit companys gave us a lot more of the match racing era than the earlier true gasser cars, in which short cuts were taken to provide many different cars from one tool. Sorry Dennis, didnt mean to hijack your thread
  18. Seriously I'm right now
  19. looks really good though personally I think the bed looks too short. Know and understand why its done that way but thats my thought on it.
  20. thats a great looking pickup
  21. very cool Bruce
  22. I'm sure it will look great either way but I like the sound of the blood splatter maybe with a couple of errant ( loose) arms or legs?
