Chris, we wouldn't expect any less from you. You are The King when it comes down to lather, rinse, repeat, repeat, repeat. Waiting to see this car in ANY stage of completion is like waiting for Christmas. "Til then, be Kewl -
68 Mustang Twin Turbo Outlaw.... (updates 06/03/15)

Ya' know what Tyrone? I don't comment on your builds nearly enough. I've watched from your first builds to the ebay sales to present and you always amaze. You plan and execute as though it is a prototype for the real deal. I guess since the NNL, I have a new appreciation for all types of drag carz and not just my vintage funnies. I don't even have a problem with it being an off-brand that isn't MOPAR. (Didn't have time to build a Zinger, so I thought I'd just throw one in there.) Carry on Man, carry on. -
Take your time. Nobody's going anywhere

"Abandon all hope, Ye who enter here. For there be Dragon's here and Newbies art chewy with a crunchy center." Sorry, I'm funnin' with ya. Got a son named Jason so that automatically makes you cool beyond normal peoples' perception. I checked out all 3 builds and I like what I see. Very clean builds with an eye for detail. I'll keep my eyes open for more from you. Edit: Make that 4 builds. Did I miss any?

It's official !! I'm almost ready to pick this Bad Boy back up. I've been a bundle of energy ready to explodicate and urgently want to improve on my skills, ever since the NNL West. There have been too ding dang many personal projects that have held sway at the top of my To-Do list. For instance, I just finished installing two LED light bars over my workspace. Shiney!! The plan is to finish up the airbrush desk, which was sooooo bad I had to pay someone to assemble it. Caution, Office Depot makes their own line of desks. Get a Sauder if you can. At any rate, I want the body in primer and all of the frame touch-up done this weekend. Thank you for your patience as I go through this literal change of life. As a reward, I am including a picture of my new X-Acto knife holder:

Oh MAN !!! I just realized that I'm going to have even MORE friends to stuff into my shriveled old brain sponge. Might as well get started now. Lemme see, Danno, Chris, Brad, uh oh !! I strained something....... It's gonna ROCK. To everyone who thanked me for the pics, my pleasure. Glad you liked 'em.

Right on !! I love me some vintage MOPAR. I also love me some blue. Looks really nice Bill.

There we go !!! Thanx John. Especially thanks to Paul and Scott. I just checked the map and I'll be driving my Dodge Journey to Phoenix, weather permitting. Should be nice in April. Anybody need a ride?

Is PDP defunct? A Google search only found 1:1 companies.

Henry J Twin Turbo - Didn't see that coming..........

Tim, I'm with you on how tight those tolerances are and the adjustments needed to fit those components into a symmetrical and properly aligned configuration. However, PLEASE don't forget that you still have to allow for the height, width and depth of the cappuccino maker. For safety's sake, the spigots should face AWAY from the pilot. A hold-down strap may also be wise. Just sayin'.......... Outrageous update and I don't know if it's been mentioned before, but your photography is tops. -
***Raises hand frantically*** "I know what happened!!! I know what happened!!!" You were in The Zone and while building you know it has to have a fan. Then when you put it in the boat you thought, "Cool, it clears the seats." Then you took pictures and uploaded them. As you were reviewing everything before posting, THAT'S when it hit you. There's no room for the radiator!!! Good catch, nice recovery, great update.

Might as well fab up some clutch plates and remove the cover for shows, huh? Awesomeness personified as per standard operating procedures Chris. Sorry you couldn't make it to the NNL, but from the sound of how you were feeling, you might be better off. Besides, after the overload to the cerebral cortex I just received at the show, seeing your Vega may have caused me real damage. -
For those of you who don't know, John is as great a person as he is a modeler. We met at the NNL, although every time I looked him in the eyes, I think he was trying to use The Force to try to turn me into a Minion. I suddenly have an overwhelming desire to get back on the Charlie Allen build. Break is over John. This means you too my friend.

I'm suffering from a case of terminal overjoy, as this was my first NNL. The things I learned, the sights I saw, the stuff I snagged from the vendors tables, but more important than that, I think I've adopted a new family. A major shout out to everyone I met and special fist bump to John Teresi, Art Laski, Ira Dahm, Roy Sorenson and the crew that stepped up to shuttle me back and forth from the hotel. Speaking of which, as I was walking out to the parking lot with my volunteer driver, (Roy?, Ron?, Scott? sorry, name overload too ), we were joined by another gentleman and we all pleasantly chatted. On our way out of the parking lot, I was asked if I planned on going to GSL. I replied emphatically in the positive as I wanted to see the International Model Car Museum. Him: Any car in particular? Me: Yes, that narrowed yellow Super Bee Funny Car. Him: Do you know who built it? Me: I know his name but I don't remember it.... Him: Was it Jim Keeler? Me: THAT'S the guy. Him: That's who was walking with us!!! Me: GET OUT OF TOWN !!!!! My mind was officially and totally BLOWN. Now I know how a Hemi feels. If you read this Jim, you were my inspiration for my love of Hemi's. Thank you a thousand times over. As for all I met, I thank you for your hospitality and cheery dispositions. Again, a thousand apologies to those whose names escape me. Between Phoenix and the GSL, I'll get there.

Now I see why we call it DRAG racing. Apparently it was the crew chief's job to DRAG the car to a stop before the advent of Drag Chutes. Or a caption: "Mr. Garlits did everything he could to keep young Donald from red lighting to no avail."

Got a couple of those Bad Boys myself. Too bad it will be a year or so before I can get to them. I like what you're doing with them If you need more decals, let me know. I won't be using mine.

Great looking start to the window. More scratch building goodness. Sorry you can't make NNL. I'll tell everybody you said, "Hi!!" -
I'll be flying out of rainy Las Vegas tomorrow morning. Is there a "Meet & Greet" at the Country Inn Friday?

Thankfully, I was totally medicated before I opened this update. Are you Freaking kidding me Chris? I might just have to fly out to Phoenix for the next show it will be in, done or not. You continue to amaze, my man. I know precision solder work is an acquired skill and you're killin' it. Carry on. Edit: Just looked up the next show on April 11 at Hobbytown. I can make that -
