  1. Chris, I am thrilled to see you putting the window in the hatch. That blew me away while watching the video. Necessity is the mother of invention indeed.
  2. One of my faves and certainly one of Revell's best models. You did a nice job. Can't wait to see the chassis.
  3. Um, Ray, this doesn't look anything like the Funny Car I had in mind. You're going to need to make a lot of changes to get it to look more like what I thought it was going to be. Or, you can keep blowing my mind with your vision. Either way, I'm good.
  4. Stunning as always John. It hit me that, for the driver, making a hard right or left turn, must feel like a tilt-a-whirl. And you have to start the turn after you passed it. Bizarre.
  5. What a natural subject for a funny! Awesome Ray. I'll be watching.
  6. WOWZA, WOWZA, WOWZA!!!!!! I am impressed Steve. That does it, I'm getting back on mine. Gave me a grin that the decals came out this time. Glad to be of some assistance. Keep 'em coming.
  7. Steve, do not sweat the headers. I didn't like the ones that came with the kit and I didn't grasp the odd ones either so before attempting them I decided to make my own. Took me a few days using solder and still had to tweak them. There are still issues, but they are good enough for the girls John goes with. Man, I have GOT to get back on that build........
  8. Beautiful Chuck. Think I'll order that when the Charlie Allen set is ready.
  9. YES !!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) Thank you Chuck.
  10. Little Red Wagon was first. It started out as a serious idea. The idea was to get as much traction on the rear axle as possible. When they dropped a fuel injected motor in there, on the first test runs they couldn't keep the front end on the ground. So that makes John right. Ray, I got no problem believing you were first, but unless you've got pictures to prove it, well ..........
  11. PM your address and I'll have them in the mail tomorrow. I don't need them for the version I'm doing. Yours is coming out great.
  12. Looks like I came in right on time. Not gonna miss another step John. I like everything about this one, er, two. Wheels look great and I can't wait to see some of that plaid laid down. Welcome back to the world. We missed you.
  13. Hi All. I apologize for the major delay in progress. My main focus recently has been my battle with the Veteran's Administration over my disability appeal. I can't believe that an agency whose main focus is to provide assistance to Veterans with disabilities is causing me more grief than relieving it. I have contacted my local Congresswoman's office, Dina Titus, in hopes of getting help to resolve my issues. Hopefully soon I will be able to get back on this project that I am enjoying so much. I just can't wrap my head around the build's issues while I have something so stressful going on. Thanks for letting me rant. Be back as soon as I can.
  14. Way cool Brett. However, if you start building aircraft from "Planes", you're gonna lose me.
  15. I dunno Chris. I'm just not feeling it. Maybe it's time to shelve this thing and start on a 1/32 SnapTite or sumthin' that has REAL potential........... LOL. Sorry, sometimes I can't contain my silly side. I freaked when I saw the engine in the chassis. Makes it all worthwhile. Keep rockin' this ride man. Righteous!!!!!!
  16. One of my all time faves. Seems to be a run on AWB's on the board these days.
  17. Wow everybody. That was an impressive response. I've been a member here for 3 years and those are most of the Drag cars I've done since joining. The oldest as you may be able to tell, is the Chi-Town Hustler, as I was using my cell phone for the pics. BTW, the Challenger body is going to be replaced (accidental sun damage from sitting near a window), with a topless Flying Dutchman Charger. Happy Thanksgiving to all and I hope to have more done on the Quarter Master before Christmas. lol
  18. And then some more.......
  19. Thought I'd share some stuff that some of the newcomers haven't seen. Also, you old guys might enjoy them again as well. Hope you like them.
  20. Welcome. Nice way to introduce yourself John. Keep 'em coming.
  21. Here's a phantom Jungle Jim car I did a while back. All scratch using plastic for the canard and aluminum tubing for braces. I inserted wire pins in the chassis to mount the braces.
  22. Doesn't hurt to have a couple of Masters hit it with a stamp of approval. Thanx
  23. This oughta be pretty. I see your AWB Charger in the background. How are those Stardust decals coming?
  24. I can't get enough of your builds Darryl. Muy impressivo.
