  1. Hey guys and gals. I've been wanting to do this one for a long time. I didn't want to rush it like this but I was in the mood to build it and in a bad way. So It was molded in yellow and took a lot of primer for the parts. I did a fade on it and never masked the body. The box art is conflicting on the colors and the divided lines as well. I based my fade on the pic of the real car here. I also realise the green is lighter than the real car but is somewhat box art ish I hope you like it so far. ( real car picture via Google images )
  2. Here is the current state of my bench........
  3. I mix and match all the time Depends on the deals
  4. Looks nice and I like the theme too. I gotta get me a few of these.
  5. Wow man! When you step out of your comfort zone you manage to hit a home run! Beautiful car in and out.
  6. Nicely done Low Rider. IMO I'd have opened the trunk for the speakers. In real life that would blow the window into heaven Graphics and paint look great. Nice work.
  7. She looks beautiful. I like the suttle black out like a muscle car but on a classic. Interior is great. Very nice!
  8. I haven't seen this version raced before but I have been a fan of this truck for a couple years now. I believe it switched drivers but Bradshaw? was great in it. I had the normal version in mind to make after my An Escalade build was done. I might have to tackle this as a USHRA Monster Jam fan just to go in my collection even if someone else does it on here I have an A-10 in my stash so I'll have to see if it's complete or not. The Uptown Escalade kit and a newer truck frame would work but the body needs to be stretched as my body is a tick short on where the wheels are supposed to be. Here is a teaser of how to start it.
  9. Wow this is amazing John. I hope when it is done you bring it to Desert Scale Classic next year so I can see it.
  10. It might be snap but it's a great base start for us that like to scratch build details!
  11. Fantastic build and weathering!
  12. Caught ya in UnderGlass but you need at least one comment
  13. Get out of here! Leave it to YOU to be running around my head I was just looking at some diecast Nascar Planes on Craigslist for sale not long ago and thought about making one. I hadn't looked at the progress of the plane build ( Not cause I wasn't interested ). Nice work on the planes. They look great. Thanks for showing the B-17 too
  14. Hey I think you are really picking up on the effect of the weathering. I tried the salt on Sub-Urban and another car and couldn't get it. You are quickly going to be another weathering great. I have to ask how did you do your stovebolt logo? Overall the build is nice.
  15. Now that looks Nismo in the front! ( and yes I like Nismo but I'm not Nismo vision here ) That actually reminds me of the new Skyline style in the rear quarter area. I am actually anxiously awaiting the return of the Supra name and From Honda I want the Prelude name back
  16. I vote pic 2 as well. I'm glad you got that Vette taken care of and it looks nice all cleaned up and nice pictures!
  17. Looking fantastic already! I love the engine detail. Are you going to set it up so that you can remove the valve cover and head? It would be a shame to cover up such detail.
  18. Hey buddy I've been watching but havent said hi in a bit. Looking good so far and man what a monster!
  19. Looking beautiful! I hope you didn't mind me asking about the differences on the 2 cars. I really like that color and can't wait to see this one done!
  20. I think a replacement of the NSX is one Tall order. I like the aggressive look but it's a little Nismo 350 Z looking in the cabin and start or the quarter panels to me. Almost like a 350Z with a new style S2000 front end. I like the rear of it though as well. Some cool race paint would break it up a bit and prove me wrong I normally don't like a design the first time I see it and I give it a thumbs up
  21. Hey Drew! Are you using Photobucket? I used Clay's tutorial in tips and tricks section. after you upload a pic on Photobucket you right click on the image url on the drop down menu to copy and then paste it on MCM topic and bingo, It resizes automatically. Thats what I do anyhow.
  22. My first car kit was when I was very young. ( around 6 or 7 years old I think) I don't know the exact release but it was a snap kit similar to this one. Of course being a kit I was stupid and left it outside when I went to my friends house to play and the heat here in Phoenix took care of the windows for me.
  23. This may sound really dumb but is there a difference between a Lambo Miura and a Lambo Jota? Outside of just a couple fasia changes? I got this kit recently and they look the same besites kit scale. Nice project Marcos.
  24. Hey I wanted to let you guys know I have not forgotten this build. I am having some difficulties locating the kits I need but as soon as I do I will be building!
  25. Man thats out of this world! Very cool build and subject matter! Good stuff!
