  1. Hey Rudy, do you mean sedan delivery like the pic you posted? Panel truck is truck based, sedan delivery is passenger car based. If sedan delivery is what you're looking for, then a non-stock 1/24 kit from Revell/Monogram is out there: But this Flintstone resin is the way to go if looking for a more stock looking '60, combined with the Revell '60 Impala as a donor kit... http://www.ebay.com/itm/200491818871?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_1002wt_1018
  2. I'll be doing the interior Ron. I can do the necessary BMF there. That way I can do the door panels lying flat before assembling the whole thing. Nice work so far Andrew! Oh, I really like the extra rims that Casey sent in the mock up, but I prefer some shiny on my wheels. At least the hoops anyway! They could either be alcladed, sleeved with aluminum, or sent out for plating? I do have a bunch of stuff about ready for the plater, I could send them along too if we decide to go that route... Best pic I could find of a 1:1
  3. Welcome Don!
  4. Looks good so far! Are you gonna share your in-between-the-reinforcing-rib sanding method???
  5. Super nice Andy! I've got one of these in the build queue, someday...
  6. Very cool Dave! Been to that track a few times for Super Chevy events. They always had a nice turnout. Haven't been there since 2000, will get there again one day...
  7. Looks SUPER Chris, except for that one HUGE black wire in the engine compartment. Is that supposed to be the negative ground cable? I'll send you the proper gauge wire for it if you don't have any. I'm sure your father would have LOVED it!
  8. By your title I clicked on this thread hoping that Spielberg was a car enthusiast and had a cool Lincoln built like this :
  9. I'm sure you'll do this one justice too Rich! looking forward to seeing it as I can't recall ever seeing one built either
  10. All of the CARS and PLANES kits are released, saw every one of them at the local show last weekend @ $6 each.
  11. Here's a resource we can use if we're sticking to stock exterior/interior colors & combinations: http://grantorinosport.org/70torino05.htm If we're using non-stock colors, anything goes
  12. The '55 also looks good without the splash apron Ed:
  13. Is this what you're shootin' for Chuck? This was at the local show last weekend (photo courtesy of member Doug H.(DSHWoodworks))
  14. That looks SUPER Bruce!
  15. Turned out great Rich!!! That eye-searing anti-freeze green color really pops, just like the 1:1. Can't wait to see it in person at the next show! And you are very welcome for my tiny contribution to this build
  16. Great pics Kevin & Doug! You took pics of builds I somehow didn't see there, thanks! Sorry we didn't get to meet in person
  17. WELCOME Eddy!!! Great builds, looking forward to more!
  18. WELCOME Kenneth! Your choice of profession many years ago was very admirable, and I hope the community you served appreciated the sacrifices you made with nearly losing your life. The modeling community here thanks you for your service in the past, and for the things you are doing now with the tribute build. We're here to help in any way we can. Wish I could help with the detail pics of the ProStar, I'm sure someone here has some.
  19. Looking GREAT so far! Maybe lay the light lens over some various windshields or backlights until a curvature match is found, then cut out that portion? Or use your existing one as a buck for a vacuum-formed piece?
  20. WELCOME Tim! There are alot of Ohioans here for some reason! You'll enjoy your time here, good stuff
  21. Looks GREAT Rich! A natural fit style-wise
