  1. I'd like to do the interior please How do we come up with the color scheme, a poll maybe?
  2. We could have that soon if Derrick get's these finished up http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=59240&page=2&hl=%2Bcranky+%2Bresin#entry718356
  3. Brad, if you do snap the steering linkage while trying to bend it back into shape, you could possibly sleeve it with brass or aluminum tubing.
  4. Cool John! Looking forward to seeing you guys again! If there is any way you can make the trip Tom, it'll be worth your while, it's a GREAT show! Kinda like a smaller NNL East I'll buy you dinner if you make it
  5. Great idea Casey! This kind of thing has been tossed around here for a few years now, but this is the first organized effort...count me in This should be FUN
  6. Nicely built Rich! Will you have it at Castle Shannon?
  7. Oh Art, how you tease us by not showing the new body! Interior looks great though!
  8. The BEST 1/24 scale U-joints I've ever seen are in the old ECSI Jeep CJ-7 kits...they are molded OPEN! Would probably be impossible to cast in resin though I think cast metal would be the best bet for aftermarket joints, but if they'd sell they would probably already be on the market... Ooohh, maybe 3D printed??? They could be done with open detail that way
  9. My local Hobby Lobby finally got the new Revell Jeep Rubicon and Tamiya primer, so I picked up one of each...separate transactions with the 40% off each
  10. Welcome to the best place on the interweb for model cars Adam! Great job building Michael Schumacher's first F1 car, looks SUPER!!!
  11. I like where you're going with this one Bill! Maybe have a curved front bed wall to match the curvature of the cab?
  12. If you need comparison pics Chris, just let me know as I've got plenty of R/M kits too. I think these two are very close in size...
  13. Anxious to see how this turns out Ray, keep it going!
  14. Hey Chris, the ESCI CJ-7 kits (I think there were only two different versions, I have the other one unbuilt if you want pics) are completely different tools from the R/M kits and better in MOST ways, although they are curbsides
  15. Looks GREAT Chuck! MANY possibilities with this kit
  16. I realize that George, what I'm saying is that the mirror appears to be 'floating' in the area between the A-pillar and the door window, disrupting otherwise smooth lines...
  17. Is it just me, or is it more difficult to build a thread since the forum redo? You lock the thread, you can't modify your post... Anyway, here's what I've got going so far:
  18. Always kinda liked these years ago when they came out, but thought they could be improved upon somewhat. Some details GM missed the boat on I think...side view mirrors within the 'vent window' area? The 1:1 for those young ins that may have never seen one:
  19. PERFECT!!!
  20. Welcome William!!!
