  1. Here are some more WIP pictures. Only parts which are missing, is the hood and some star decals. I had some problems with the doors, but now everything fits somehow and Corvette was ready for the Model car Contest. Here are some pictures, and I'd like to say again, THE CAR IS STILL WIP. Handbrake handle is scratchbuilt.
  2. I understand that, but I was just thinking, how it could look better. I've never raced with Slot cars, so I don't know all of the "tricks". I was just thinking about how it looks. Maybe I must build one Slot Car, just for fun. Home made one, of course even if it would be slow.
  3. Great build. Clean and there are no too big mistakes. That engine detailing is very nice, and I like the paint and decals. The frame looks good too. Good job, keep models coming.
  4. That's true, what Bart says! Of course it's faster with those wheels, but I was thinking about how it looks with them...
  5. Wow, interesting post by Joe! Great information. This project is waiting for busy builder. I'm having that '64 Corvette to finish today and then I'm trying to get Firebird FC ready. Maybe after them, I can continue this one (and some others too).
  6. Great build. Paintjob looks very good, and I like that engine detailing alot. Wheels and tires are very realistic. Good pictures also. That last shot is my favorite, register plate looks good and grille is just like real one.
  7. I'd like to see Nader's face after he would have seen this one! Great job with it, this shows that great model doesn't need windows. Paint looks great and detailing is amazing. Those wheels and tires look amazing too. There's nothing to complaine. Great build, I enjoyed very much when watching the WIP topic.
  8. Few mock up pics... Oh, it's getting dark here...
  9. Well, times have changed. I'm going to that Model Car Contest, and I'm having little hurry with this build. I can't get it 100% finished, there will be few decals missing from the chassis and hood can't be ready in that time. But I'll display it with hood off, as always. I waxed the body and put some BMF. Rear window is built from acetate and windshield is installed too. Engine is completed and installed to chassis. There are still lots of parts missing, and tomorrow will be long day-and night with this project. But it'll be finished, I'm pretty sure about that...
  10. This is going to be very interesting. Gassers are great. Nice job with opening the trunk, and chassis modifications look very good too. Keep it going, I'll be watching this one.
  11. I started waxing the body. Top is pretty much done, but there's still some waxing left. I can't get to that model car contest, so I lost bit of inspiration of this build... That's why it has been pretty slow progress.
  12. All of these Magazines are really cool ! Can't wait to see what's coming next...
  13. Yes, I can see that they are Slot Car wheels and tires, but they are too low profile for my taste anyway, it doesn't matter if they are Slot Car tires or not. It would be nice to build one Slot Car, I just don't know, how to build one.
  14. Wow, that paint job and decaling is much cooler than beformer one. Great job with this Firebird, can't wait to see more. Can't wait to see more work with it, coming along nicely.
  15. Wow really great subject! Super Stockers are always really nice to see, especially when they are built nicely. Those wheels and tires look very good and I like the paintjob.Very cool build.
  16. This is amazing build, again! The donor, you used looks very good. I like that body too, paintjob is nice. Detailing on that engine.... Oh I mean, on those engines is great, and tires look very realistic. Great build, thanks for sharing.
  17. Here are two pictures... I installed the valve covers, and I painted some silver on them to give more realistic look. I'm going to add the carburetor next and then I must build that "Turkey pan" from aluminium and stuff like that...
  18. I painted Weiand logos from those valve covers...
  19. Some clear. Looks pretty good, I think. After waxing it'll look good, I hope. Well I also detailed engine a bit. Added underpressure hoses and bit of carburetor linkage. Not too great but this engine will look good when it's installed. I built that alternator bracket from aluminium... More coming soon, I believe. Comments are welcome and thanks for looking.
  20. I installed stripes on the top. I don't know, where are they from, but on the same decal sheet, there are some Rebel flags, and these stripes with stars. I installed them on the top, and they fit fine. Today I'm planning of clearing this body, and when I can get the hood done, I'm going to install one Rebel flag on the L88 scoop. Thanks for looking, any feedback is welcome.
  21. Next projects coming to the bench, '32 Ford 409, Fox Mustang and Bat Peterbilt...

  22. Yeah, same thing here. I'm having my old avatar there, but luckily this one is the new one. Yesterday it took many, many tries and when I had tried already like 10 times, and no changed avatar, I decided to quit. And now in the morning, I came to the forum again, avatar was changed... Strange, but I'm happy it changed anyway.
  23. Turned out really nice, as always! '71 Challenger is something really rarely seen... I like the paintjob, decals look very good too. Detailing is great, as always and wheel&tire combo looks good to me. Great build overall.
  24. Great to see this one back! I like the interior, it looks like straight from the factory. And body color is very nice. Stance looks great, that front axle system is really nicely done. Nothing wrong with the rear end, can't wait to see more work with it. Keep going.
  25. 1. Totally scratchbuilt monstrosity of some sort. That would be the best. And this project looks very good. I like that trailer, it's something different. '29 Ford pickup looks very good too... And that Chevy truck is my favorite of course, it's a Chevy!
