  1. I normally build musclecars, with Mopars being my favorite, but now you’ve got me wanting to build some Tri 5 gassers lol. The overall attention to detail and the execution of this build is amazing!!
  2. That paint job is amazing! It’s so shiny! Thanks for posting your details on how you painted it, gonna use that info for a future build ??
  3. WOW!! That car looks beautiful!!!! ?
  4. Looking good so far! I’ll be following this build. Is this the Revell kit?
  5. I have 2 of these Camaros in my stash(1 Baldwin Motion and 1 with red car on box) and following your build is giving me ideas and motivation to try new things when I build one of them. Looks amazing so far!!!
  6. That’s. Is. BEEYOOTEEFULL!!! ???

    Some Mopars

Orange Roadrunner or the green Superbee would be my favorites but, they all look awesome and you can’t go wrong with a Mopar ?

    1968 el Camino SS

It’s a factory Jeep color called Rescue Green, I had it mixed in a spray can at a local automotive paint store. Kinda pricey but I have plenty left for other projects lol. If the weather would cooperate with me I have several finished projects to take outdoor pics of but Mother Nature has other plans ?
  11. What he said ^^^ X2 ?

It’s a Revell 70 T/A Challenger, I have a thread in the WIP section but have since finished it, just haven’t posted any finished pics
  13. ?? WOW!!! Both of those are AMAZING!!!
  14. 1970 Dodge Coronet 2dr hardtop or a 68 Charger.
  15. The stance looks awesome on this!! And I LOVE that interior!! The magazine on the seat makes it lol
  16. After reading this I opened my kit up and low and behold, it had the wide ovals in it too! ??
  17. I pretty much have the sheet stuff covered, I work for a printing company and can get sheet styrene in 4’x8’ sheets in everything from .010-.060 thickness. My main thing I guess really is what are the most common used sizes of rod and tube diameters and what other sizes and shapes are commonly used for scratch building. Just trying to figure out what I need to pick up next trip to hobby shop. Thank you for your input, it helped a lot sir. ??
  18. What supplies do you guys(and gals) keep on hand for scratch building? Sheet styrene? Most common sizes to have? styrene Rod and tube? Sizes? Other types and shapes of styrene to keep handy for building custom stuff, roll cages, etc.
  19. Years ago when they first came out I bought all 4 colors. Wasn’t really impressed with them then. Sold off all my kits a few year ago and somehow traded around and ended up getting this one. Figured it would be a good stress reliever while taking a break from other builds. It’s actually not a bad kit as long as you take your time with it.

They are Chrome T’s from Pegasus Hobbies
  21. Snap kit that was a rather fun stress buster. It had the ugly yellow/beige interior so I primed and painted it Pontiac engine blue to be different. Painted and wired the engine. Pegasus Hella wheels.
  22. AMT soap box derby kit, started on it before I even really had an idea of what I wanted to do with it lol
  23. I’d like to get in on this, but I only have four 1971 cars in my stash and honestly they don’t really excite me lol but I’ll keep looking around and may find something to join in with.
  24. This. Right. Here. ^^^^ I had about 6 kits that I had started(2-3 years ago) and then BAM! I just lost all motivation. I was still buying kits and accessories and stuff, but I’d just open the box and look at it then put it away. There was a topic on the CBP section about “Replica “ builds and I jumped right into it( start another project, like I need anymore going) next thing I know I’ve not only completed my replica build but I have also finished 3 of my started projects, all in less than a couple of months. Once I get all of my projects done I’ve decided I’m going to try and concentrate on ONE build at a time from now on(WOW!, can’t believe I said that with a straight face). Yeah my motivation comes and goes. But it always comes back.
