  1. For my Wildcat I'm building, I was able to get pictures of everything just by e-mailing the museum where it is kept. It may take a few e-mails or phone calls but you'd be surprised what people will help you with if you just ask. For the record the worst people I dealt with were from the GM Heritage center . All I got from them were readily available internet publicity shots along with a legal letter telling me I'd be drawn and quartered for misuse of their photos
  2. Flaws in fit and finish never show to the naked eye. It's only after taking pictures that you find the things that should have been apparent.
  3. this might help http://sonic.net/bbdon/brochure/69-i.htm

Amazingly I have the same model done exactly the same way
  7. Sure wish I lived near you Doc.
  8. Peter has offered to cast more copies if anyone is interested. You can send him or I a pm and we'll give you the details.
  9. Yes Peter took it upon himself to make those. Now if I could just get modelhaus to answer my e-mail about tires and wheels I'd be happy
  10. Just a quick update. I received my front clips that Peter Lombardo vacume formed for me. I'm very pleased with his work. Now I need to get working on the rest of it.
  11. Actually the pic I posted is what I found on a google search. I just recently picked up that kit for 24.00 from my LHS. Model car roundup has it for 24.90.
  12. If you are talking about this kit , I would say yes it's worth it.
  13. 5.7 vortec chipped in my suburban
  14. Love that color Doc
  15. Beautiful guitar. The abalone inlay really shines.
  16. Have mercy, been waitin' for the bus all day. Have mercy, been waitin' for the bus all day. I got my brown paper bag and my take-home pay.
  17. Go to USAjobs.com. There are a lot of fields with government agencies that are hiring. Any degree from any field is a plus. Veteran status is also a plus. One of the nice things is once you jump through all the steps of creating your online profile with them, job applications can be done in less than 10 minutes. Once you submit an application, they update you on your status which is always better than not knowing if you are being considered or not. Good luck in your search
  18. Very sweet build and the weathering is very realistic. Great job.
  19. Do you have a dremel ? That's about the only way I can think of. Someone here with more experience may have a better solution.
  20. If you or any one you know has babies, the small plastic square containers that baby food comes in are ideal too for smaller parts
  21. I got my license in 74. Never took drivers ed classes but friend of mine did. I've never seen two steering wheels. Can't say for certain about the brake pedals.
  22. I agree, very nice subtle detail. Beautiful model.
  23. Actually Doc in the case of what I posted, it was so ugly, I came away thinking it was gorgeous
  24. I saw this at a local car show a few years back
