  7. There are lot's of differences between 67, 68 and not so much more between 68 and 69. (still enough to notice) I don't want to spend hours trying to find all the specifics and photos haha....but here are all 3 cars to compare... Notice the back window of the '68 and grilles etc...much to be different. You can buy a resin '68 from Star Models...but if you want a plastic one, I might have one here. ;-) 1967 1968 1969

  11. Feel free to leave comment on my blog or here. I took all of these photos between 2003-2009. This is not everything...just the rods and kustoms......some stock here and there too. http://rodburner.blogspot.com/2009/04/videos-are-done.html
  12. This is a pretty crazy custom! I like the way you have the doors open! Did you place a "pull handle" under them for when you want to shut them and drive away? Sorry im too lazy tonight to read all that
  13. You are not alone, so I can sympathize with you. I was laid off 3 times in the last YEAR. I am still looking for that "hook".
  14. yesterday I went to the store to get some items we needed around the house. for a couple of weeks I knew there was a nail in the driver side front tire. I didn't say anything to my wife about it, I figured when it came out we would have to fix it anyways. The nail came out yesterday on the way home from the store and it was leaking fast! The tire was half empty when I got home and I told my wife that I needed to HURRY and get it fixed because it was going to be empty in no time. I drove to a Sinclair station about a mile away and got it plugged , cost $15.50. When I got home I told her that it was too late, the tire shredded and came off the rim, that I drove all over the place looking for help and ground the rim down almost to the rotor and that it was sitting in the driveway smoking.....WHAT SHOULD WE DO?? I asked her.... SHOULD HAVE SEEN HER FACE!!! LMAO!!!! It was fixed....april fools and she about screamed!
  15. I have always been sick. I paint the body first and let that negotiate my next move. I can't vision interior or anything else until the car has color on it.
  16. scratch building is definately taking materials of any kind, even kit plastic to make a part which didn't exist in in a kit or in your own stash. sometimes a person doesn't like the part that came in the kit, so they will make their own to satisfy their needs. sometimes the person can't afford to buy after market , so they make their own to the best their abilities. as mentioned "even kit plastic"..meaning to take spru or other parts and remodel them to make a new part or a part that is specific to your needs. however if you take a part and just change it, that's "modification"....not scratch building. scratch building will always mean to start from scratch. kit bashing is just that....taking parts from other kits and adding them to another. if you take wheels from one kit to another, that's bashing. as for them slot cars you spoke of, that's just rebuilding. it's kinda like some guys do to diecast, taking them apart and repainting them and maybe adding some small details. that's not really building at all in my opinion. if that's what you like, do it...but to me it's no challenge unless every part of the build has your touch. Bill, that is some serious scratch building on the working windows!
  17. so do you have to change your name to george 56? hehe happy birthday!
