  8. Went to check out the Hobby Lobby here to see what they had on sale, and wouldnt you know........nothing!! Not a single model, paint, or any kind of supply on sale. I think everything else in the store was marked down anywhere from 20%-50% off. I was so disappointed. I figured I could use it as an excuse to talk my wife into leting me buy a kit or two for my b-day. Maybe next year I guess....lol by the way, where do you get the 40% off coupons?? thanks Gary

  13. WOW!! That is one nice and clean build! I really like the way the fender skirts look. I never would have thought to use skirts on a truck build. Keep up the good work. Gary
  14. Dont forget the Hummer is getting the ax also. Or at least thats what I heard the other day on the radio from the Hummer dealer here in Casper. Of course the only real Hummers were the H1's in my opinion. H2's didnt like and when the H3's came out built on the Colorado frame and running gear that was just a sad disgrace to the Hummer name. Well thats my 2cents anyway. Have a good one.
  15. Looking good! I love the stance you have for it. cant wait to see more

  20. Day10: Its been a couple of days since I was able to stop and write. Finally made it to the wrecking yard. Found an old Dodge truck that still ran so I have been working on it. I also found a National Guard Armory about another couple blocks from the wrecking yard. Was able to find some .50 cal's, one mortar tube, and a few other odds and ends. Looking at some maps and books in the office of the wrecking yard, it looks like there is a Kraft factory a couple of hundred miles from where Im at now. As soon as I get this truck going I'll head that direction, hopefully there's still some food left there. Day 12: Got the truck ready to hit the road today. Didnt have any windows left in it so I welded a steel plate in for the back window, and tore down some of the chain link fence around the yard to cover the windsheild and door windows. Well its getting dark so its time to role! Kraft factory here I come.
  21. Glad to hear that your ok Jody. Take it easy and relax, and heal up. Take care. Gary
  22. Casey, Just know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers in th is time of loss. Take care and God bless you and your family. Gary
  23. Day 4: I've been hiding out on the roof of an old gas station in the middle of this town. I've only seen a few zombies around, not as many as I thought Id see. The few that I've seen have been heading in the direction of the city. They must be out of food here. Ive spotted a house not far from here that I will use as a hide out. Just need to wait until night fall to make my way there. Day 5: Made it to the house last night. Found a zombie in the kitchen having dinner with what looked to be the family dog. A quick 12 gauge slug to the head put an end to his dinner plans. Other then that everything is clear. I will be using the attic to stay in, just incase any unwanted visitors show up. From the attic window I seen what looks like a wrecking yard about 2 blocks from here. I will make sure and get there tomorrow and see what I can find.
