  1. here's one i did for my 10.5 camaro.
  2. clay, you, my friend, are from a whole other world. your attention to detail and correctness are beyond comprehension!!!!!!!! just smokin' work, boss! i can't wait to see that big, bad, blown, BAE motor. ya-ba-hooey!!
  3. ken, please post them! first you'e work is awesome. second, there's a dozen pro mods being built on this site...... no two are alike. for some of us, we enjoy learning some of the nuances in these car. like, between a WOO car and a USAC sprint car (i hope those where viable close examples.) so please.....post away. at the very least........ i'll be watching.
  4. clay, all of this bling is hurting my eyes! will you be "anodizing" any of the wheels/ wheel parts?
  5. tyrone or romell, are those kits? holy cow, they're huge!
  6. you're probably right, skip. that would be great. how would you suggest we accomplish that? like you said, romell did offer his point of veiw on the subject and others dismissed it and stated their own. it still led to a less than desirable result.
  7. very true, harry. see step 2. all i'm saying is, if you WANT your criticism to be CONSIDERED constructive................then post that way. if you want to criticize.........then post that way. just stop hiding behind the false pretense that it was meant to be constructive. what are your thoughts on the board defining scratchbuilt (at least on this board ) to elleviate future discrepancies on that issue?
  8. romell, i believe that you have outdone ANYTHING you've done, previous to this build. truly some terrific craftsmanship. i know your next build, will only surpass this one! for me, that's that's the goal! to do better on every next build. learn from the past....do better on the next!!!!!! keep after it, romell!!!!
  9. ahhhh, minor discrepecies!! LOL! love watching your builds, ken. you are a true talent!
  10. ken, the decals are the whipped cream on the pudding!!!!! (assuming you love pudding and whipped cream) LOL! i had to look at them twice to realize they where made up. great job at fitting the names to the decals. super job!!!!!!!
  11. if you want your criticism to be considered "constructive". maybe you should: 1) offer it during the construction stage. where there is time to actually repair the fault. waiting until a project is completely built and painted. then rendering your "the front end is crooked" comment does no one any good. 2) offer your timely "constructive" critcism with some sort of helpful fix. if it's wrong, knowing how to fix it and offering a suggestion on the fix. will be a big help. disguising criticism by using the word "constuctive" in front of it, is pretty lame. also, it seems everyone on this board has their own definition of what scratchbuilt is. unless the board is going to post a common definition to which we can all subscribe. until then, all the definitions are correct.
  12. my apologies tyrone. no one has gotten back to me on this. the logo looks great.
  13. holy cow, ken! i trn my back for 1 minute and poof.........you have this almost done. looks absolutely awesome!! if i were to say i have 2 favorite parts they'd be the motor and the rear. just killer stuff!
  14. kris, no problem. i'm afraid shooting for my skill level may not be to much of a goal. i'm really not that good. i'm really accurate but, (in my book) not a really good model builder. my abilities with actual modeling are somewhat limited.
  15. i was letting scale master know it was not a jag rear. he stated that it was.
  16. i don't believe that's a jag rear. it has 4 shocks and inboard brakes, like a jag but, thats about as close as that's getting to a jag rear. the center diff. is wrong. the lower control arms / wishbone is wrong. the rear hub carriers are wrong. it may be built in "jag rear" styling but, i'm pretty sure, it's not a jag rear.
  17. all i can say is ..........WOW!
  18. awesome work there, buddy! details are beyond super!
  19. just super impressive work, clay!!!!!
  20. my apologies lou. it was unclear to me as to whether you were looking for that specific car or just a '61 bel air in general. it is obvious to even a beginner, it's not tommy d'aprile 's car.
  21. romell, you out did yourself on this one!! the whole project is lookin' really sweet.
  22. are you looking for that specific orange car? or are you referring to the '61 bel air body in general.
  23. do a search on Tommy D'Aprile.
