  1. Hard to believe this was a glue bomb. Very Nice work. The Dozer is awesome as well - it that a modified AMT kit ?
  2. Very nice tanker. First look I thought it had to be a resin conversion. Fantastic scratch building and modifications.
  3. Ewan has plans on casting them. After I get moved to Nowhere Montana I am going to try casting tires.
  4. I think I will buy a case of them !
  5. I would prefer tires made out of resin myself. I can paint them to look the way I want them to.
  6. True enough , but that boxart is really catchy. Somewhere there has to be one sleeping in a closet...
  7. The paint sure looks nice and shiny .
  8. Ok, so I saw a picture of this elusive beauty for the first time today. What a truck - sad thing is I cant find one anywhere. Does anyone know of any sources to find one or what the story is on this kit ? I would love to get this for myself for that upcoming Five oh Birthday
  9. Thanks for the info - as said I am not sure who made it. A friend of mine had it for some time and he knows how much I like the "Ford line of Semi's" Sorry for the bad pic - sun is actually shining today in the PNW to wash out the white. Thanks for the info on the frame, that has been my setback trying to figure out what to use and find some reference material.
  10. Hey Sam , will you be using the AMT setback axle Autocar for this hood conversion ? The pic of the logging truck is super sharp.
  11. Now that is a sharp looking wagon. I cant wait to see the figures painted up with it.
  12. Is the Caddilac by Lindberg ? Looks like a great assortment. The figures look like a good score also. What I would have given for the lunar lander back when I was a teen.
  13. Very nice I also prefer the old cabovers. Did the 5 hole budds come with the kit ? I am getting real tired of Alcoas on everything. Super sharp paint scheme on the cab.
  14. Kevin - I have to tell you , your Ford does look nice for all the mental stress it caused you. Did you use an "Astro" frame for it ? I have a resin W-9000 cab but I have no clue who made mine either. It is different then yours, the windshield slopes back more on mine and no panel lines are scribed on the back. Also the grill is cast on the cab. I believe mine will get painted a nice color and some stripes as I am getting to old for decal headaches. Jim - super job on the trailer !
  15. That sure looks good. I will second that the old style headlights look the best. The mesh for the filter housings and the grill just add so much more to the truck.
  16. I wonder if this ebay seller is going to wonder why all these just sold in such a short time ? Thanks Rich for the link.
  17. Alan, I am happy to have helped you out. Odd how we share the same interest as I had been coveting the idea of Evil's trucks also !
  18. Ah Gotcha, I have yet to get my hands on one of those Revell kits so I did not know exactly what they had. I was thinking that sure looked like a 3406 E / C-15 - didnt miss by much. Nice modifacations.
  19. That grill looks really nice also likeing the color scheme. Is that Cat the kit engine ?
  20. Are you looking for "fresh gray cast iron" or used rusty weathered brown color ?
  21. One thing - I would try to buy back the Ranch my parents sold when I was 17 . It would be nice to have and pass on to my kids.
  22. I so need to find one of those , I never knew about that.
  23. What a nightmare ,I sure am glad I retired from working on them. No more easy access or simplicity of the engine.
