  1. Those are some nice pics , thanks for posting them. The six spoke wheels are great.
  2. Hands down one of the finest Zero's I have ever seen. Truly amazing and prescision work you have shown here. Thank you for the viewing pleasure.
  3. Builder alangarber posted a while back on his "Tyrone Malone" trucks about using clear decal paper and spraying sections the colors he needed to cut and use for stripes. WHich for this truck would work out very well
  4. Exceptional work Terry , the pics of the other trucks are nice eye candy also. I hear you on the seams on the running lights, I filed / sanded them off on my Pete and the sprayed them with Alclad to make them shine again. Thanks for the updates , your wrecker provided a much needed distraction.
  5. I believe the "Texas Bumper" was originally built to scrape Armadillos off the roads
  6. Nice save to a great looking a/c. You had your work cut out using mahogany.
  7. Great story Angel and even better the truck that won your admiration. Both look fantastic !
  8. That is the sexiest mixer I have ever seen Very Impressive work. Thanks for the breakdown on the modifications.
  9. I went from this 5 years ago to this Sold, traded and gave away hundreds of aircraft kits.
  10. Now that is really something - I'm impressed with the drive setup as with the color combination and cab choice. Super work David !
  11. Wow where did you find all those 378 Kits ?
  12. I use to build WWII aircraft - I bought several modelers estates and amassed several thousand kits. The idea was to pick out the rarities and sell the rest. I could only build about one a month , figured my age and build ratio Selling them on ebay was more of a job then working 12 hr shifts. Kits had taken over every room of the house. I finally started giving , trading and selling by as many I could stuff in a box. I quit building for 4 years and got back into modeling by a semi truck trade for box of aircraft resin and photo etch. I only have a few truck kits on the shelf and I could not be any happier.
  13. I like it and it shows a lot of work and character. The only thing missing is an Edsel mounted up on a pole !
  14. A "self healing" hobby mat makes life real easy with the frames. You can find them with 1" square grids ,masking tape works wonders for holding the frame in place till the cement dries. This is a frame I shortened but you can get the idea
  15. I was wondering when you were going to wow us with more progress. Well worth the wait , I like the colors of the tractor !
  16. Thank you for that bit of information. Awesome color but It really looks good on the model.
  17. Gordon - Wow, what a nice collection. First pic bottom shelf Pete in the middle - what is that color ? It is spectacular.
  18. Hey John, those are some really nice covered wagons. Great project , I was wondering if you were still working on this one. How long is that wiggle wagon train from bumper to mudflaps ?
  19. Use the 1/43 Pete wrecker for the truck , a lot less real estate.
  20. Darn, the clearance mirror on the cowl got broken off in the crash ! Nice work Terry .
  21. Maybe everyone was celebrating our wedding anniversary - 24 years yesterday !
  22. Wow, these are so cool. I would pay admission to see a scale track and 20 or so of these trucks ! Could you imagine how sweet a Detroit V series would sound with a set of pipes like hat ?
