  1. Most likely collecting pay to be on standby !
  2. Alan - I like all three ! Another great addition to a fine collection. You better chain that excavator down or it will slide right off there as if it was greased.
  3. Really liking the CF doubles and tractor ! On the someday list to acquire and build. Back in the day I would have dreaded a service call to that outfit - but in 1/25 scale they are tolerable.
  4. Nice pics , you dont see these very often anymore. Is it for sale or just on "standby " ? Thanks for posting them ! Is that your KW photo bombing pic three ?
  5. Dennis - nice collection you have going. I also like the fact you have plenty of room for future builds. What is the excavator , kit or diecast ?
  6. I'm liking it , especially with the faded stripe. Nice hydraulic tank you made !
  7. Those pulleys are nice, I could probably make one - but a duplicate Never
  8. Sorry to hear they look like that, hopefully all is good. Would that be UPS or the US Postal System that can take credit for that ? The last 7-8 packages I have gotten have all been damaged. I have quit ordering stuff I am so disgusted with the US Postal handing. Nothing worse then shelling out big bucks and the anticipation of waiting for it to show up , only find out it has been broken in transit.
  9. Terry - Wow, what a eye appealing display. I am impressed at such a great way to utilize the kit boxes and directions. Lucas - Very nice , my favorite is the logging truck and load. It looks so realistic , you must of had some good reference's to duplicate that one !
  10. I dont think you can ever go wrong with "red & white" ! Very Nice
  11. Fantastic looking pair of haulers and cow pots. I also thing the red top to match the tractor is pretty cool !
  12. Very sharp looking truck - looks like a real work truck with a lot of "Driver Pride" . I had just been thinking lately on why you dont see more of these kits built a daycabs. A fine example you have displayed here.
  13. Very nice, and I really like the cab style. A different background and I would of thought this was your reference pic ! What did you use to make the hoses ? Up here in the PNW you find a few small towns still using older equipment and it is always a treat to see such.
  14. Tom , I dont know of any of the quirks associated with this kit but I think you should convert the engine to a 250 and add the 5+4 if it does not come with it. A gravel hauler needs those extra low gears !
  15. Fantastically nice and the wash really made this Truck come to life !
  16. Awesome - this is one you hardly ever see. Hard to find and not a easy kit to build. Fantastic work Phil - a great addition to the collection. Such a unique aircraft
  17. I traded out the Distributor in my '84 F-250 with a Chineese Proform HEI - made it almost 24 hrs and it went into nuclear meltdown. Pulled it back out - put the Fomoco back in until a Mallory HEI could arrive. No issues with the Mallory runs like a champ. The Proform price should of been my first clue $49.99 , heck you cant even buy a decent coil for that price let alone a complete HEI. Lesson learned !
  18. My current neighbor runs a trucking company. Weekends are normally heavy maintenance as the trucks run Mon - Fri. I went over to see what all the noise was today and to my delight they are installing a new tag axle - but wait this is a kit for using old steer axles that the king pins haven't gone out of yet and easily found in truck wrecking yards. The pics tell the story. One of the trucks What a Beauty of a grill aa
  19. The extra work you have done has really given these engines eye appeal ! I will give you a little tip for when you build your next clean engine to give it some depth. After the engine is primed and ready for paint use some flat black and lightly mist from the bottom to the top (engine upside down) the paint will go under intakes, behind filters , raised lips ct. Then normally paint your engine the correct color from the topside down. You will have a shadowed effect that you will be pleased with. I learned this method doing aircraft interiors to give them more depth. I have painted my truck engines this way and really liked how they turned out.
  20. Wow - wow that is really spectacular. Nothing like natural light to bring out the real beauty When you going to add the door signs "Midas Transportation" ? I think you need to build a gold '79 Trans am to go with this
  21. And I thought those 16 cylinders I worked on was impressive That is a monster...
  22. Arnd - you do some of the most fine detail work I have ever seen ! Worthy of a tip of my hat
  23. Impressive and inspiring as always !
  24. Yow - that is sharp looking Did you use that Auto Parts store tape for the sides ? What is left - backing the tractor up to it ?
  25. Great start on the Cummins and those pulleys are Really Nice I use to Have a 250 Cummins on a stand as a Yard Ornament - My neighbors were really impressed I even put twinkile lights on it for the holidays !
