  1. I find this truck Impressive but even more so it is # 7 in your IH fleet. You must be able to build these with your eyes shut by now !
  2. Looking really fantastic with the stripes. Where did you source your fenders from ?
  3. The FLC is still available - http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/ita/ita553859.htm Sometime back I saw a Fotki sight that had all kinds of instructions.(I found it by accident) Maybe someone knows the link to it and you can compare kits.
  4. Now that would be cool ! Every time I look at this I dont know what I am more impressed with - your scratch skills or your drawing.....
  5. Thank you Terry and right back to you and everyone else
  6. Both truck and Texaco trailer are super sharp !
  7. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions on trailer ideas. Eric - the "pogo stick" is kit issue. I had not even done anything to it yet as it was just placed for the pic.
  8. Super - I wish I could of been there to admire all those trucks. Some nice oldies you never see anymore. Thank you for taking the time to post the pics My favorite - 1965 Peterbilt or wait maybe the Mack Wrecker or the old "Bonito" (I would of wanted to buy that one )
  9. Very nice , one of my favorite KW's that you hardly see anymore. Nice color combination. As said - I hope this brings a super price.
  10. Terry, thanks for taking the time to post those pics. I really like the Autocar wrecker myself. That 4300 sure looked fancy after the repaint - nice color combo. And the Pete with the wing - Wow I really miss seeing that era of trucks on the roads.
  11. The story about your Dad's creations are awesome ! You have any pictures of those "Dump Trucks " ? My Dad took a 1952 GMC coe Dump truck and made it into a Backhoe ! I am already hooked on your project This will be a fun one to watch progress.
  12. Wow, I think you did an Outstanding job. If a truck could be called "sexy" this one would be it !
  13. I like it ! Looks just like the real ones I see rumble by everyday. Really nice work ! One thing I did notice today is the mud on the trailers starts topside and runs down from where the logs are being placed. Had a zebra stripe effect , I wish I could of gotten a picture.
  14. Yippeeeee ! Tower has them in stock http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEHMD&P=W
  15. Now that is cool, you always can pull something other then a cat out of the bag ! What a great idea Any ideas for a load yet ?
  16. Oh yeah she is styling now ,Looking real good ! Where did you find the lights you used ?
  17. My Dad was a bus mechanic after he retired from the Navy (1964) . I remember seeing those coaches as a young boy and still remember how magnificent they looked. So clean and lots of shiny on them. This is some spectacular work, looking forward to seeing more of it.
  18. So cool, what a great idea and you were able to make the pup as well. It definitely looks like it has hauled some loads. Thanks for all the tips ! Now that I have seen it - it seems like that Pete is quite the "photo bomber"
  19. Every time I look at this I like it even more . Gives me an idea to build a "Service / oiler truck" like I use to drive. It is also nice to see old builds rebuilt into something so cool.
  20. Very nice - I was hooked as soon as I saw the Black with Gold stripping. Then I noticed all the rest of the details You did a superb job and your scratch building is top notch !
  21. Now that made me laugh Fantastic looking wrecker and lots of eye candy in the background !
  22. Alan - no idea , but I know my email is very unreliable. Half the stuff I send to my son he never gets - so maybe Eric never got it ? I would call the number Dennis supplied. Wow - spray cans might be tough to find. Do you have Home Depot or Lowes ? Perhaps they might have "accent colors"
  23. The only thing I have on my paint rack is Model Master Panther Pink and it looks close to your cab color. Do you have an airbrush ? You can always lighten with white to get closer to the pink you want. Years ago I used "nail polish" for custom colors , they sprayed pretty good after thinning. That is some spectacular styrene work , and it starting to take on the shape of the real one.
  24. Quite the difference from a "Colorado Hay Hauler" Nice pics for modelers Clayton !
  25. I dont know how I missed this one. I am floored by this impressive build - and it started out as a snap kit.. Wow ! Very nice work
