I'm gonna out Jairus!
Lemme see, I think you're around my age................Let's put it this way.....when you were born, "Mac The Knife" was the number one song of the year.........
Hey Roberto!
How's it goin!?? Welcome aboard...........and I want to say again how nice you guys were when I was down there in February!
Post some of those neat builds you have! 8)
Well lessee...........
This was the hottest thing you could buy when I was comin' into the world........
A 1961 Corvette!
But my birthday is in October so I guess the '62's were starting to hit the road?
What a neat little car! I've always liked those, but unfortunately I don't (ahem) fit into one of those too well!
Who makes that kit?.............I've not seen that one around anywhere.
That's gonna be one cool little car when done!
That's gonna be a nice conversion MJ.......it's something not seen in 1:1 at the shows!
I agree with Dan...........the 1960 Edsels were better looking than their regular Ford counterparts.
Too bad Ford saw fit to end production so early in the model year.
Now that's what I call a First Class Build!
Peter, I hope you sent Trumpeter pics of your work, showing them what this kit SHOULD HAVE looked like before they decided to tool this from memory (or something). :x
John, do you have the latest Java installed? It's needed to get into the chat room. Once it's downloaded it only takes a spell for the chat room to show up. 8)
Thanks alot for that review Peter!
I have two of these kits--------one to restore a '59 Bonnie buildup, and the other to upgrade an original '60 Craftsman kit buildup.
Your craftmanship is excellent on this......it helps a lot of guys who thought this kit was hopeless!
When posting pics from Fotki on this site..........you have to go to the bottom of the pics and hit "Share Photo" then copy and paste that URL here.
At least that's the only way to get pics I have to show up here.
Also, you need a paid account............Fotki won't let you link them on free accounts.
Dean, I'm not sure what the name is now that his son runs it..................maybe if you contact Jerry at Resin Realm, he may be able to give you his email or his website if he has one.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw it on the 'net the other day Art! 8)
The only thing I don't like about it is the "smoke color" roof. Gives it a moon rover look to it.
Other than that 'it's BEAUTIFUL!!
