  1. which is the perfect styrene for making wheel arches wider? i want some styrene that i can glue on the inside of the wheel arch then add putty to make wide arches and im wondering which is the best styrene for doing the job?
  2. Very nice colour Jonathan, i was thinking about getting the 2010 stang as iv had a few of the other 05 onwards stang's but i need to know if some of the parts like chassis interior ect are interchangable, im guessing some are but if they are il be sticking a GT500 engine and interior straight in the 2010 stang then start custom work on the body.
  3. liking the roadrunner a lot
  4. Thanks Dave, looks very nice, hmm going to have to have a bash at making one for the back of the supercharger then make two elbows coming off that then two cold air induction kits.
  5. Im in a bit of a dilemma right now, i have a supercharger that i need to make two circular throttle bodys for but i dont know how to go about making them, they look like they're quite simple to make but sometimes the simple things end up being the hardest bit.
  6. I got these wheels a while back from a fellow member and im pretty sure they're aftermarket because they're metal, i was wondering, where i can get them from online? Thanks, Dec.
  7. Coming along very nice man, if your new project is anything close to the detail of this build i look forward to it
  8. i want one!! no way im getting one in the UK easily...or cheaply if i buy from the US.
  9. Im trying to find out which 1/24 or 1/25 kits have a transaxle, like engine in the front, transmission at the back, i think the revell corvette zr1 has it but im not sure, any other kits that have it or can i get a resin one from somewhere?
  10. wierdly ebay hasn't got much floating around right now in the way of parts, i did think of bidding on a kit yesterday but then i thought i wanted from it was the tyres (revell viper srt10) and the other kit i only wanted the engine (lindberg srt8) and i can't seem to find anyone on the forum who has this stuff either :/
  11. thanks guys, unfortunatly they don't have the stuff i need either :/ any other sites?
  12. Are there any sites where people have bought kits then parted them out? Its just iv been looking for a few things for a while now on here and cannot seem to get them. Thanks.
  13. Im driving a triumph stag now, may be a classic but i love it, not really any problems so far suprisingly, all the guages read normal. Have no pictures of it right now and don't fancy going out at 12 at night to take some pictures haha but heres a few pics of the car and roughly what mine looks like, was edited quickly. Oh btw its not running the standard v8 its running a rover v8, i was expecting insurance to shoot right up when i did the swap but i asked just before i did the swap and its only gone up by £50 a year. I wanted to give it a more modern look but still keep it looking and sounding like a classic, my wheels are like these except flat black centers not gloss black.
  14. Even though the torq thrust wheels are starting to get a bit "old" now, they really look good on this charger, the flake of the paint and the chrome of the wheels goes real nice together, great work!
  15. is there a photo etch grill for the revell 68 charger, i know there is one for the 69 but not seen one for the 68 yet?
  16. Ahh iv been waiting for another one of your epic builds Romell, already looking awesome, il be looking forward to the next update man.
  17. thanks casey but they don't have the 69 charger
  18. Thanks for the links guys, could i please have the 69 instructions, sorry if im being a bit picky haha
  19. Anyone have the instructions for revell's 69 dodge charger prefebly online? I got my kit this morning and it had no instructions or decals so thats why i ask. Thanks, Dec.
  20. Great progress man, iv been wanting to build a charger for ages, now i want to build one even more haha.
  21. thanks for the tips guys, iv found the best way to make weald effect in putty is to slightly wet it and use a interdental brush (for cleaning between braces) rolling and pressing into the putty.
  22. Got a wet coat on the cage and door cards, one more then thats them done and i can start preping the chassis, the body is still being tempermental, so more and more putty, should pay off though. I think i accidently sent one of the kits seats a while back with a kit i sold so i only had one, these are the kits seats.... I had a search through one of my parts boxes and found some seats that will look alot better in this kit, will have to sand the moulded harness, they sit perfectly on the original seat mounts, don't worry the drivers seat is suppost to sit higher then the passenger. Sorry for the bluryness, my camera isn't focusing for some reason.
  23. Anyone know how to give putty a wealding kinda detail, does the putty need to be wet or dry to create the effect, how do i actually create the detail? ect ect Thanks, Dec.
  24. OK guys, not much progress, just putty work which is really starting to annoy me now but its got to be done. I assembled the cage with PVA glue and set it under the body just to see what it would look like, the inside of the body is going to be silver so should the door cards also be silver inbetween the roll cage or should they be black to go with the CF dash?
  25. i was wanting to get a set of the f50 decals just to see what i could use from the sheet, just suttle details. So work has started on the interior, got a few mist coats on the rollcage and door cards, im thinking on the door cards, in between the rollcage either silver, gloss black or semi gloss black, something that will match the dash which will be painted in CF effect. the chassis will be painted the green too, underside will be silver, i need to get some styrene sheet to make the engine housing on the chassis but funds are low right now so i guess il have to try find a alternetive material around the house. Edit: So i want to give you guys some of what you want to see so heres a re-design, got the spoiler correct, colour more accurate and only one decal which is a ferrari badge, what do you think?
