  1. Wow Gene, you did a great job on that Lincoln. Several years ago I purchased '60 Lincoln kit still sealed. I have yet to build it though.
  2. I buy kits for their content and not at all for the "box art."
  3. Congrats to you both as my wife and I just celebrated 38 years of marriage last week.
  4. As far as I know it's YOYO (your-on-your-own) when it comes to a child seat in scale. You'll have to figure out how to cobble one up from a seat from your parts box. The ones these days even have cup holders.
  5. I have two curio cabinets, one in the living room and the other in the family room. One is for my built models and the other for my die-casts.
  6. Back-in-the-day say in the 50's and early 60's gassers were street driven hot rods that were raced at the drag strips on the weekends. They had to be street legal and the class was called Gas Coupes & Sedans. That means NO convertibles or sports cars. They were allowed certain modifications and alterations however they had to run the stock fenders with or without the running boards. They were raised in the front of the car to transfer the weight upon launching the car. They could have headers or exhaust dumps as long as they had mufflers for street driving. I believe they could remove the rear seats, however there must be a passenger seat in the front. Today, the gassers rules are quite different and many people call any car with a raised front end a gasser which is not true and the term "gasser" is used very loosely.
  7. Nothing right now as I seem to be on a summer hiatus from building, and I believe I had one last year also which I'm really not that happy about. Oh well.
  8. I'd put the idea of a Revell Model A Coupe on the "back burner" and build other kits as we may not see the re-issue of the A Coupe for a few years, if at all. Any rumors about the up coming re-issue of that kit is pure speculation at the present time.
  9. Just sign on the dotted line.
  10. It pleased me today to take my ride out for a "spin" this morning and attend a Car & Coffee event. Good way to start the Saturday for me.
  11. Looks like lots of mice droppings on those parts.
  12. I guess that three is not your lucky number if the machine only works the first and second time.
  13. When I get away on vacation, I don't think about cars or model cars and I don't bring any model or car magazines with either. Of course while away, a pretty or old car will still turn my head.
  14. At those insurance prices, the bicycle seems to be the better alternative.
  15. I've been using Tamiya Silver Leaf for a barrier on colored plastic before the primer and have had NO issues with it at all.
  16. You too? LOL! Thanks for reminding me.
