Yep, after viewing some of the above post, like I said before that I don't use spoons at all except in the kitchen and at the dining room table.

Maybe it would help if you scuffed up the spoons before painting, or even using primer also. I never use spoons myself as I pick out a color or colors and "shoot from the hip" and so far I've been doing pretty good with that method.

I use grey primer under anything that I'm going to paint silver or black, and white primer under any other colors. I've been doing this for years and it seems to work out great for me.

Just bring some sunshine with you Ray and enjoy your visit regardless of the weather. I just tolerate the winters here, and hope for spring soon so I can enjoy some car shows and cruise nights.

Going to the 2018 Chicago Auto Show today with some of my car buddies. Lots to see and do, took some photos, liked the Rolls Royce for 1/2 Mil, and stopped for lunch on the way home. A good time.

I was at my local Hobby Lobby today which is only 1/2 mile away, and I don't go there often as I support my LHS. I didn't see any model car kits on clearance, but I did find a can of Testors paint that I was lookin' for, and yep I did use my 40% off coupon. I also didn't see any model car kits that interest me which is good as I'm tryin' to "build more and buy less."

I don't like the snow, as I just tolerate it. The landscaper was supposed to come over yesterday and remove the snow from the driveway, but never showed up or called so I got somebody else to do it.
