  1. Ditto! And many thanks for this forum Gregg.
  2. I remember Jonathan Valadez from the C.A.R.S. in Miniature Model Car Club. A good guy and I'm sorry he passed on. May he R.I.P.
  3. I saw this one at the Milwaukee NNL a couple of years ago...............................................................
  4. Very nice lookin' truck Joel as I drove Chevy trucks for 'bout 40 years and needed a change. So I went over to the "dark side" and now have a F-150.
  5. Lot of guys at the barbershop this morning waiting for a haircut, and five or six of them were on their iPhones at the same time. I wonder what these guys do for entertainment? I know that some people take their phones to bed with them. LOL!!!
  6. VERY nice!
  7. That would please me also, and your daughter is a very lucky person and should know that someone was watching over her. I'm not talkin' about the truckers either.
  8. Not sure, but you can spray some Testors Dull-Cote over a chrome plated Moon tank and it does look like aluminum. I also do this on some chrome wheels or front bumpers that I want to look like aluminum.
  9. I was lucky when I worked and never had to work out of state, and always home every night. Worked well when my daughter was born and I worked days and my better half worked nights. Gotta keep the money rollin' in to keep up with the bills.
  10. I use masking tape cut to fit the opening on the seat belt hardware. Put it through a bit and fold it over and it sticks to itself. then turn it over sticky side down and place it on waxed paper and paint it any color you want. When dry put it on the seat, it sticks by itself and cut off any excess. I usually put a dab of epoxy on the underside of the seat belt hardware resting on the seat, and also on the other end of the seat belt so it NEVER comes off. This method also works with shoulder harnesses too, and works for me. Try it!
  11. Lookin' good Trent, as I just love dem B-body Mopars!
  12. Another one of my cars from the 60's that I owned. The Corvair was a Corsa with the 140 h.p. engine with a 4-spd., 4 carbs, and posi.
  13. I didn't check the time we spent there, but I would guess 2 1/2 hours and the show was good. Not as many two legged models showing off the cars as in previous years and it seems like the show doesn't have the "wow factor" that was evident in the past either. The Auto Show is something us "car guys" do in the winter months as a week 1/2 earlier we visited the Volo Auto Museum.
  14. That we didn't have a lot of snow this weekend like we did last weekend. We just got a "dusting" last night and a little bit of salt/driveway melt took care of that.
