  1. I saw the ZZ Top Eliminator at my local Hobby Lobby today. No I didn't get it as I have more than enough to build already.
  2. Welcome Kevin, as this is a good place to be. You can also find larger kits at Spotlight Hobbies also.
  3. Ditto!
  4. Yep, I had colored lights under the dash also.
  5. Deuces wild? Wow lots of nice Deuces posted guys, here's a couple/few more.......................
  6. I'm not watching the auction as I have no more room in my garage and my checkbook is a little light this week.
  7. Back in the 60's some "cut outs" went all the way to behind the front tire with a removable cap over the flange. We used to call them "lake plugs."
  8. Yes driving and necking at the same time is very distracting. Wow, the "good old days."
  9. My version of the Monogram Green Hornet kit as per an article in Hot Rod Magazine...............................................
  10. What a beautiful job you've done restoring that Mopar!
  11. An excellent book, as I had met the author Larry Davis back in '03 and asked him to autograph my copy before he had sent it to me. Lots of great photos and info in those pages. This book is a "must" for gasser lovers.
  12. Couldn't you " test fit' the frame into the body and see how much to shorten the frame, or no?
  13. Norm Veber of Replicas in Miniature Company of Maryland has a nice rack and surf boards available .
  14. That's why in 2016 I didn't order a Ram truck as the dealer told me that MY truck would be made in Mexico, and I said no comprende. I went to my local Ford dealer and ordered a truck from them, and I'm happy with it.
  15. Very nice build.
  16. When I was younger a "basic truck" was okay for me, but now that I'm older I want a little more comfort and conveniences on my daily driver.
  17. I would assume that most (?) people know that you can't return things after they've been altered, as this is nothing new.
  18. Either the paint is too thick, or you're spraying too far away.
  19. Lookin' good Michael, and keep us posted on the completion. Thanks.
  20. Very nice build on that Henry, and do you remember what kit those skirts came from, or no?
  21. They ARE incompetent, but they like the "title" of being called a technician.
  22. Ditto, and thanks.
  23. Nice build, how did the engine come out?
  24. Get well soon Joe as the swap meet at the Du Page County Fairgrounds in Wheaton is next month. Hope to see you there.
  25. I've been drivin' Chevy trucks for almost 40 years and needed a change. Glad I picked up a new FORD in 2016, as I'm really likin' it.
