Yep a wedding will do that as there's NO limit to how little or how much one can spend on their daughter's wedding. With Christmas just about a week away I've pretty much have all my shopping done and gifts wrapped already.
I've been usin' toothpicks to apply cement (glue) for years and they are cheap and plentiful. Also use a straight pin occasionally to apply glue as well.
I recently did this to apply some white letters decals to a set of tires. I brushed the Future on and let it dry. I then applied the lettering decals and let them dry. Next I brushed some Future over the sidewalls of the tires and it looked pretty good. If you don't want the "shine," you can brush on some dull-cote acrylic over your decals instead.
Yes the forecasters do cover their butts, however they also play up a few flakes to LOTS of snow. I'm going to stop watching the weather forecast on the news and just read the forecast in the newspaper without any fanfare from now on. It is getting old.
Yes, their paint division is now owned by Wings, Wheels, and Waves and can be reached by www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com or wingswheelswaves@ssnet.com or (330) 830-7755. I bought paint from them earlier this year and got good service from them.
A $100 / hr. is not bad, however the investment in that type of car seems way overboard to me. I could see spending that kind of money on a classic muscle car or drag car, but not on a stock '62 Falcon with a 6-cyl. engine. To each their own I guess.
One of the resin casters from Detroit made a Continental hardtop body and it looked pretty nice. I had bought it for a project I was plannin' on doin' and then scrapped the idea and selling the resin body and the AMT Continental kit also.
