  1. A lot of kits come with separate wipers and I usually leave the driver's side on, as the car can be caught in a "downpour" sitting in the staging lanes.
  2. I believe it was the '62 Corvette that was used on the show.
  3. Nice set up Ben, and cool model too. I had one of those built up before I got out of "cars" for awhile, and I wish I still had it.
  4. Better too much trailer than not enough, especially when hauling BIG equipment.
  5. Good tutorial Bill, and thanks!
  6. Good luck to you Lucas in getting a job.
  7. Real nice job on that 'Cuda Ken, and I just love dem Mopars!
  8. At one time I was able to post photos on this forum, but now it doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm able to post pics on other forums with no problems.
  9. Crazyjim, there's a Portillo's in St. Charles also as I've been there a few times. Only ONE beef sandwich?
  10. No GPS in your vehicle either? I never use one as I've used MAP back in the 60's and it still works today.
  11. Ya gotta eat/drink in moderation or you're gonna pay somewhere down the road.
  12. What pleased me today is that I was "out and about" with my better half today, and at lunch we stopped at Portillo's for some good food like Chicago style hot dogs and burgers and fries of course. This is the 2nd Wednesday in a row that I've been to Portillo's for lunch and I'm wondering if it's going to become a habit???
  13. 10thumbs if you don't like criticism, that's fine but this forum belongs to ALL of us.
  14. All I got today was a couple small jars of Testors paints to replace the dried out and almost used up jars I already have. Oh well, I gotta keep up with the supplies.
  15. I'd be happy with it too Robert, as you did a great job on that gasser.
  16. Where's the Cosmic Charger?
  17. You can post them in the Under Glass section. We don't need 47 sections here, as most stuff will fit in the sections we already have.
  18. Snagged my copy today, and it's a good thing that I shuffled the magazines on the rack as Elapsed Times was hidden behind the Car Craft issues.
  19. Hey guys, don't forget that the Du Page Swap Meet in Wheaton is comin' up on Feb. 22nd. Hope to see some of you there.
  20. And being a hobby shop owner, does that qualify him to give an answer like that? I know of MANY model car builders that have liked reading model car magazines for MANY years.
  21. I forgot 'bout those "Toob People" at Hobby Lobby as I'll be needin' a standin' figure soon. Thanks Ron.
  22. While I too am tired of Tom Brady, I still think that the Patriots are gonna walk away with all the marbles.
  23. What holiday?
  24. Very nice job on that Dodge Dart Ludwig, as I just love dem Mopars! I don't see why people think the '62 is so ugly, when I really think that in '61 both Dodge & Plymouth came out with the "ugliest" car bodies they have ever done. Makes me want to dig out my '62 Dart from my stash.
