  1. What a "road rocket" that is. Thanks.
  2. I built tank kits back in the 50's and I doubt that I'll ever go back to them. However I also built planes back then and I finished one last year that's now hangin' from the ceiling. Hmmm???
  3. I also heard that with the dock worker's strike, there are ships waiting to come in to unload and it might be awhile. It might also be the reason we're not getting some new releases. I know the kits will be here before I have ALL the kits in my "stash" built.
  4. That is beautiful Steve, and I just love 'dem Mopars!
  5. I don't see that kit listed on their website.
  6. I guess that someone had lied.
  7. Lookin' good Bill, as I should dig out my resin '68 Coronet R/T from Modelhaus and build it someday soon.
  8. LOL! Miles that reminds me of my current model I'm workin' on as I SHOULDA WORE A GLOVE.
  9. I sent them an e-mail as well, and I think they're playin' possum?
  10. John, your boat is just "Killer." I used to follow Unlimited Hydroplane racing and drag boat racing back in the 90's, and the prop driven boats were always faster than the "jet drives."
  11. Please keep the snow by you Tom, as that would please me. Thanks.
  12. Dave, the Polar Lights Coronet kit with the pre-painted body can easily be stripped with 91% alcohol.
  13. Beautiful "bowtie" for just a shelf model, nice job Gene.
  14. I have one of those kit's in my "stash," however when I built Arnie "the Farmer" Beswick's Mystery Tornado I used Monogram's '64 GTO kit instead.
  15. Welcome to the forum Jon, as this is a great place to be. I have built a couple of "big rigs" back in the early 80's but I really don't have the room for them. So I'm building model cars.
  16. Nice job on that Road Runner as I just love 'dem Mopars!
  17. Yes Jim I have thanked the Lord for giving me the strength to do so.
  18. That's lookin' good John, and I really enjoyed working on 1:1 cars when I was younger. Now, not so much as I have a mechanic that does a great job and that I can trust.
  19. I believe that Ramfin is also doing that model.
  20. I would also scribe the trunk line in before doing anymore priming or painting.
  21. I have a photobucket account and have no problems posting on other forums, only this one. When I try to click on my photo I've selected to the image box with the URL, the whole thing turns a light blue and freezes up.
  22. Ed, in the "beginning" gassers were every day hot rods that were raced on the drag strips on weekends. They had to have all safety equipment such as lights, mufflers, horn, and yes even WIPERS, as they were to be "street legal."
  23. When posting photos, how do you get to the Model Cars Photobucket? Thanks.
  24. That I've been sober for nine years on this date.
  25. Nice lookin' Poncho Ron.
